一、教材分析

本课是外研社《英语》（新标准）（三年级起点）六年级下册Module8 Unit1 Why do you have cups on your heads ?. 本单元的重点是通过读课文让学生学习用

“ Why do you have cups on your heads? ” “ Why are you laughing?”句型对不理解的事情进行询问；并且能用过去式的语言对过去发生的事情进行描述。

本单元共1课时完成。

二、学情分析

本模块的学习重点是进一步复习一般过去时、一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时这四种时态，并巩固用“why”和“because”询问和说明原因的用法。虽然学生之前已经学过这些时态，但教师也要帮助尚未掌握这些时态和运用的学生，通过不断的巩固、强化达到掌握，同时帮助学有余力的学生进行适当的扩展。相信学生能够通过读和说等活动很好地完成本课的学习任务。从而，能够在本模块学习结束后用英语询问和说明原因。

学生在三年级的时候接触英语，

因此到了小学六年级，

大部分学生听力方面能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问；

能在图片和动作的提示下听懂简单的小故事并做出反应。

能正确朗读所学故事或短文；并能按要求用简单的英语做游戏。书写方面能模仿范例写句子；能根据要求为图片、实物等写出简短的标题或描述。

结合新课标以及经过对教材、学情的分析,我认为本课虽然是语篇，但又融合对话的句型，

因此我设定教学目标如下。

三、教学目标

1、语言技能

全体学生能听懂：

The four questions on PPT: Why do they have cups on their heads ? Why are they laughing ? What’s in Sam’s bag ? What did they do at last ? After reading the questions, I’ll get them to read the dialogue by themselves, then talk about the answers in teams. 4. Say the answers and learn to say the new words and sentences
