一．教材分析：

The topic of this part is“traffic rules”Such as a topic is related to our daily life,so it is helpful to raise students’ learning interests. Students are expected to be able to use the structure“... must...” to express some traffic rules.

This lesson is the fourth period of this unit. In the last three periods, the students have learnt the new words about ways to go to school, new patterns:“...must.../Don’t...” to express some traffic rules. In this period, the students will learn some vocabularies and sentences about traffic rules. The most important point in this period is students’ comprehensive application of the target language.

二．学情分析：

The students have learnt the new words about ways to go to school, new patterns:“...must.../Don’t...” to express some traffic rules. Students in Grade Six have learned English for about 3years so far. The students are happy to get in touch with new things. They are willing to play interesting games. They have taken a great interest in English now.

三．教学目标：

1.Knowledge objects: Get students to review and learn some words about the transportation and traffic rules,such as,ship,plane,taxi,train,bus,bike,subway,traffic lights,traffic rules,stop,wait and so on. Learn some sentences about traffic rules.

2.Ability objects:

1).Enable students to read some words about the transportation and traffic rules:ship,plane,taxi,train,bus,bike,subway, traffic lights,traffic rules,stop,wait and so on. 2).Enable students to say the target sentences: Stop and wait at a red light.Slow down and stop at a yellow light.Go at a green light. 3.Emotion objects:

Enable students to obey the traffic rules.

四．教学重难点及方法：

Teaching important and difficult points 1).Key words: Traffic lights,traffic rules,stop,wait…

2).Key sentences:

Stop and wait at a red light. Slow down and stop at a yellow light. Go at a green light.

Teaching methods Games, group work, situation teaching method and speaking.五．教学准备：

Teaching aids PPT ,some video, some pictures and the police’s clothes. 六.教学步骤和方法：

Teaching procedures and ways Step 1 Greeting. 1. Greet the whole class as usual. 2. Do some warm up .

Step 2 Revision

1.Review the key words in the last class. 2.Review the key sentences with a song. Step 3 Presentation of new. 1.Teacher shows a pictures about the traffic lights and let students to say what do they mean.

2.Teacher shows the traffic light one by one and learn the traffic rules.

3.Teach these new words one by one. 4.Watch a video about Let’s Learn.

5.Read and repeat. Step 4

Practice.

1.Divide students into two groups to act the video about Let’s Learn.(Boys and girls have a PK.Who is the best.) Step 5

Role Play.

1.Divide students into groups of four to do the role play.One student be the traffic police, one student be the guide, one student act the blind people, the last student say the traffic rules when traffic police show the traffic lights.(Find which group is the best.) Step 6

Homework

1.Write the key words and key sentences. 2.Listen to the type. 3.Read the new words. Blackboard design.

教学反思：

《Ways to go to school》是六年级上册第二单元第四课时的内容，本单元的话题是交通工具，本单元的重点是学习如何询问和回答人们日常出行的方式，

本单元的难点是学生能够熟练使用所学的语言询问并回答坐某种交通工具去某地。因此我觉得在课堂教学中，应该多创设情境，给学生提供综合运用语言的机会。注意与学生的日常生活联系，将目标语言运用于更多的真实情景之中，以加深学生对句型的理解。在本堂课的教学中，就以学生熟悉的元素traffic lights为切入点，引发学生的讨论。在教学过程中创设适当的情景，不仅为学生提供了运用语言的环境，也能提高学生运用语言的能力，活跃课堂气氛，学生比较喜欢，教学效果也不错。

六年级的学生对交通规则都比较熟悉，他们思维活跃，已经具有一定的英语听、说、读、写能力，在已有的学习经历中，学习成就感和自信心的体验让多数同学逐步形成了稳定的兴趣，但学生的个体差异也使两极分化现象逐步显现。本课我充分发挥教师为主导，学生为主体的作用，利用卡片，以训练为主线，努力培养学生听、说、读、写四项基本技能。兼顾后进生的学习状况，给他们以更多的关心与指导，使他们也能在新的学习中，树立自信。如教学交通方式之前先出示学生学过的交通工具，再引入到交通方式的学习，学生了解了交通方式的构成结构是by+交通工具后，就能自主运用，如by jeep，by car等，这样新旧知识交融，也起到了温故而知新的作用。

课堂教学的精益求精是我在今后教学中应该追求的，任何时候都不应该满足于现状。要随时发现自己的不足之处，以便及时改正。比如，教学要面向全体学生，每上完一节课都要回顾一下，在这节课上是否仍存在着“死角”？课堂上的发言面是否达到了95％以上？学生们否能够主动地开口讲英语？只有不断地反思，才能取得更大进步。
