Unit5 Seasons (story time) 教学目标：

1. 认识、会读单词spring, summer, autumn, winter; warm, hot, cool, cold; season 2. 认识、会读每个季节对应的活动类词组fly kites go boating，eat ice cream，go swimming，have picnics，go climbing，make snowmen，go skating并能体会其趣味性

3. 能正确且有感情地朗读storytime中的四首诗歌，本课结束时多数同学能够对照板书提示背诵四首诗歌

4. 能够通过本课体会到诗歌之美以及季节之美，并能挑选自己喜欢的季节，创作出一首简单的小诗

教学重点：

1. 掌握单词spring, summer, autumn, winter 2. 知道每个季节对应的活动并能体会其趣味性

3. 能正确且有感情地朗读四首诗歌，从中体会到诗歌之美以及季节之美

教学准备：

（学生准备）预习单词与story time, 想一想四季能可以有什么活动，是否会用英文表达

Free talk T: Class, can you tell me how many seasons are there in a year?

That’s it. There are four seasons in a year.

T: What are they? Let’s have a guess. T:In this season, it is warm. The trees turn green. The birds come back.

What season is it? Yes. It is spring.

(板书，教读spring) T: The next is very hot. In this season, we eat ice creams. What seasons is it?

You’re right. It’s summer.(板书，教读summer）

T: In this season, it is cool.The leaves turn yellow. Do you know what season is it?

Good job! It’s autumn.(板书，教读autumn)

T：In the last season, it is cold and white. We make snowmen. We go skating.

What season is it?

Right! It is winter.（板书，教读winter）

T：Class, do you know what season is it now?

Yes, it is spring.

T: What can you see in spring? Is spring beautiful ? Do you like spring? Wow, we all like spring.

T: Class, can you tell me what’s the weather like in spring?

Yes, in spring ,it is warm.（板书，教读warm）

T；What do you do in spring? Look. We fly kites . We go boating.（板书，教读fly kites, go boating）

T: What else do you do in spring?

T: Wow, we can do so many things in spring. Spring is so interesting and beautiful, right? Now , let’s read the poem about spring beautifully.

Let’s watch and find

T: Now ,we have known in spring, it is warm. But do you know what’s the weather like in summer, autumn and winter? Let’s watch the cartoon and find the answer.

T: Class, after the cartoon, do you know what’s the weather like in summer, autumn and winter? Who can be our little teacher to teach us the new words. Please come forward.(让学生做小老师，教授hot, cool, cold)

Let’s chant and act T: Now ,you can read it. But can you chant it. Have a try. Warm, warm, spring is warm. Hot, hot, summer is hot. Cool, cool, autumn is cool. Cold, cold, winter is cold. T: Let’s chant again. T: Group 1 , you are spring team. Group 2 are summer team. Group 3 are autumn. And the last group are winter team. Let’ chant together. 3.

Let’s discuss, stick and say

T: Wow, seasons are so different. And we do many different things in these different seasons. Children, what do you do in these different seasons? Please open your books and turn to Page 32. I will give you 3 tasks. 4 students is a group. First , please read the story time carefully. Then ,

discuss with your partners. Finally, stick the notes into the right places. Let’s do it.

T: Is he/ she right? Let’s check the answer. In spring, we fly kites. We go boating.

What about in summer? What do you do?(板书，教授eat ice creams, go swimming) In autumn, what do you do?（板书，教授have picnics, go climbing. Do you like picnics. Maybe one day, we can have picnics together. In autumn, we also go climbing. Climbing can make us strong.）
