【Teaching Procedure】

1. Warm-up

Teacher performs a chant and asks the students to sing together.

2. Lead in

Teacher takes photos when students are singing the chant.

Teacher: Boys and girls, what am I doing?

Students: You’re taking photos.

Teacher: Yes, I like taking photos. Because It keeps beautiful moments.

I have got some lovely photos here and I want to share with you. (Teacher shows some photos of her cute son and describes them with be+v.ing )

Teacher: I have got some of your photos. Do you want to see?

(Teacher shows students’ photos and ask them to try.)

3.New lesson

(1)Look and say

Teacher: Our friend Daming likes taking photos too. Here is a intereting photo of him. Let’s go and have a look. What can you see? What are they doing?

(2)Listen and fill in the blanks.

(3)Listen to the tape and underline be+v.ing.

(4)Read after teacher. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

(5)Students try to describe the photo on their own. 3.Consolidation

(1)Teacher shows some photos of animals . Students try to perform the action and talk about them with be +V.ing.

(2)Teacher shows four photos and students can talk in groups.

(3)Students perform. 四．Extension

Teacher presents another photo and students try to write a short passage with be+v.ing.

Choose one of your favourite photos and write a passage with be+ v.ing.
