Main aim: By the end of my lesson, students will be able to distinguish the sounds of [i] and [ai].Enable the students to spell the words contain the letter ‘I’.

Evidence: How will you know you have achieved your aims?

1.Have students to do an exercise of the sounds . 2.Play the Pronounciation Map game. Context / Timetable fit: 1-5: Have students to sing a song about letters and sounds . Elicit the letter I. 6-20:Explain the differences of the two sounds.And help students try to spell the words contain the letter I

21-25: Do an exercise about the sounds. 26-40:Play a game.

Materials: Textbook ,video,ppt,flashcards.

1.Students are not in my school, so we don’t

know each other very well. Suggested Solutions

2.Students can not pronounce the sound [i].
