Students: Grade 4
Duration: 40 minutes Teaching aims: 1.结合插图,录音文字理解故事的主要内容
2. 模仿人物对话正确朗读故事
3.在图片的帮助下,正确指认和说出房间的名称. Teaching focus: 学生能够运用所学句型介绍自己的房子。
Teaching difficulties:
学生能正确指认,认读房间词汇并在适当的情境下使用this is…句型介绍房间。
Teaching aids: video, cards, pictures Teaching steps: Warm up:
Step1: Greeting and introduce myself.
T:Just now I have told you my name.Can you guess where i am from?Do you want to visit my house?( 教师呈现地图,介绍自己住址,播放介绍房间的视频)

house. Step2:Listen and read:
Today we are going to visit another house.let’s take a look.
T presents the picture1: Who are they? What are they doing? T presents the picture2: Who opens the door and what does he say? So whose house is it? -----Bobby’s house. ((板书主题)
Step3: let students guess how many rooms are there in Bobby’s house? Play the video and answer the questions: Question1: How many rooms are there in bobby’s house? What are they? Present the words and sentence: living room, bedroom, and bathroom. This is … (通过出示图片学习不同类型的房间,在运用不同的方法进行单词操练比如大小声,小组读,男女生读等) Play the video again: Question2: whose bedroom is this? Who is in the bathroom? (Bobby’s sister, Bobby’s uncle) Question3: what is Bobby’s sister doing? What is Bobby’s uncle doing?
Present the words: sleeping and washing.(通过表演动作的方式进行操练)
Step4: listen to the tape and read after it. Then let students act out the dialogue.(先让学生完整听一遍录音再进行课文跟读。)
Step5 learn to say: T: wow,How beautiful house.Do you know whose house is this?(呈现图片,让学生观察图片中的房子并回答问题。)

Question: what room is it? Let Students introduce the rooms. Play the video two times and check the answer. Step7:take out the picture of beautiful house. Let students introduce their house in group. Then ask some of them to introduce their houses to the whole class. Step8: Homework: 1.
Draw a picture of your house and introduce it. 2.
Act out the dialogue with your partners。
