一、

设计理念

新一轮的课改特别强调各学科都要力求与相关学科的相互融合，使课程内容跨越学科之间的鸿沟，最大限度地体现知识的整体面貌。

英语学科的教学要注意引导学生尽可能地从不同渠道，以不同形式接触和学习英语，亲身感受和直接体验语言及语言运用。同时，英语是一门学科融合性极强的学科，有效处理好其它学科与英语学科之间的横向联系，将会有助于英语教学的发展与提高。

数学这门学科，很注重培养和发展学生的思维能力，同时，数学中的问题和生活联系密切。

如何使数学学科渗透到英语学科中，两者形成一个完美的结合点？

本课以Elapsed Time为主题，将三年级数学中钟表的教学和四年级英语中时间的教学有机结合在一起，实现知识和思维在两个学科之间的碰撞和互补，引导学生用英语将学到的数学知识进行梳理、巩固和创新。考虑到全英文教学对学生英语水平的要求，本节课的学生对象是五年级的学生。

二、预设目标：
