教材分析

本单元以旅游展开话题，王老师的班级要去泰山三日游，泰山离北京大约500公里，去这么远的地方春游必须考虑几点，首先是交通方式，所以Section A从讨论交通方式展开，引出了动词不定式的用法，学习了一些重要句型及词汇。Section B 紧接着Section A的话题，确定了交通方式之后由Kangkang通过电话预订火车票。其次还要考虑在泰山旅游期间的住宿问题，因此又以预订住宿房间展开对话。本课时要求学生掌握黑体单词和短语book tickets/rooms, pay, pay for…, hotel, fridge, standard, single, condition和comfortable, 理解白体词汇sleeper和air conditioning, 学会如何用英语预订车票、房间，如何询求和提供帮助，继续学习动词不定式的用法。

教学目标：

1.正确掌握pay, cost, spend 和take 表示花费时的不同用法。

2.能自如地运用提供帮助的句式：Can I help you? / What can I do for you? 3.能正确运用英语预订车票和房间。

教学过程：

Step 1 Greeting and revision

Introduction Make a self-introduction to students and encourage them to take an active part in class activities. Class begins with a joke about Mr. Miser. Review the sentences “Can I help you?/ What can I do for you ?

Show some pictures and review Section A. Miss Wang’s class is going on a three-day visit to Mount Tai. How will they get there? They made the decision together. Finally they decided to take the train to Mount Tai. Now Kangkang is booking the train tickets on the telephone. Do you want to learn about how to book train tickets on the telephone ? OK, let’s learn some new words first.

Listen to 1a and complete the table in 1b. Then play the video in 1a and check answers.
