一、教学目标

1、能听懂、正确朗读词汇中的黑体词汇并知其大意，如：task;能正确朗读白体词汇知其大意，如：poster；

2、能够正确运用that引导的宾语从句陈述句：

（1）Jane thinks (that) ... （2）Kangkang knows (that) ... （3）Micheal says (that) ... 3、能听懂1a的对话内容，通过听前的问题，抓住关键词并正确回答问题；

4、能够清楚、大声地进行朗读，认真听录音和老师的发音，大胆开口；

5、了解Craig Kielburger和他的“Free the Children”组织，树立乐于助人、关爱他人的品德。

四、教学步骤

（1）Lead-in

Free talk: 通过师生对话引出贫困儿童并展示相关图片，让学生有一种直观的感受，引导学生表达自己的情感：

E.g. I’m sorry for them. They are very poor. They need our help.等等。

教师继续询问学生：Do you want to help them?

How can we help them?

Do you have any ideas?由此引出a helping hand（乐于助人）。

（2）Pre-listening 1)

教师为学生介绍一个新朋友：He is also a helping hand. 2)

展示Craig 的照片：He is Craig Kielburger. He started Free the Children to help poor children. 3)

观看Free the Children的介绍视频，了解它为贫困儿童做的努力

教师总结视频里的内容，并提出去更多地了解Craig (3)

While-listening 1)

听录音了解Craig，并回答以下问题

1、Where is he from? 2、When did he start to help poor children? 3、How many school rooms has Free the Children built?

通过回答这些问题，让学生更加了解Craig，鼓励学生向他学习，try to be a helping hand。

2）再次听录音，回答问题

由此引出
