Unit 7 Topic 2 一、Analysis of the teaching material:

The topic of Unit 7 is talking abut cooking. In Section A we learned how to cook fried rice and noodles. The grammar is Adverbs. This class ,we will learn Section B, the main point is Comparative and Superlative Degrees of Adverbs. At same time we will review the functions,such as First......Second......Next......Then......After that......Finally... 二、Analysis of the students:

So far the students have learned English for a few years. They knew many words and do some exercises. But they can’t get them into English as well as their marks. I want them think about things in English ways. So this class , I will give them more chances to do, to show,to act in order that they feel more confident. 三、The teaching aims: 1.

Talk about cooking and then show us how to cook the food you like. 2.

According to the show, we learn Comparative and Superlative Degrees of Adverbs. 3.

Get them into the teamwork and know the spirit of the teamwork. 4.

八、The teaching procedure: Step 1. Warming-up

T: Good afternoon boys and girls. In Topic 2 we will learn something about cooking, before the new class, let’s review Section A.

(通过PPT上的小测验，测验学生对Section A的主要语法点的把握，总结副词和动词的关系，并且复习表示顺序的词，引出下一环节。) 2.

Have a break. Listen to a song: Cooking song. It’s a song about cooking.(欢快的歌曲能给师生带来一个轻松愉快的课堂氛围，歌曲的内容也带领师生一起走进今天的课程。) Step 2. Ask and answer:

T: Do you like cooking?

S: Yes.

T: Can you cook?

S1: Yes.

S2: No.

T: What kind of food did you cook before?

S: I cooked ......

T: Very good. Today let’s cook some food together. (通过问答让学生一起回顾自己做过的饭，或者书上学过的做饭过程，把学生上带入到情境当中来。引出本节需要学生操练的部分。) Step 3. Presentation:

The teacher take out some pots and pans.

T: Now you and your partners talk about how to cook food that we have learned or you have cooked. Then I will find one group to show us how they cook.

(本环节为课本内容的延伸，让学生从课本中走出来，学以致用。

这个想法起源于做阅读理解的时候，学生总也融入不到情境中，这样多做情境演示，可以帮助学生将英语和情境结合起来，更好地理解英语。小组活动，学生之间可以相互帮忙，增强了学生的合作性。)

(通过事例，学生初步接触副词的比较等级。) Step 3. Consolidation:

T: I need some help.

Ss: We will help you.

T: OK. I will find some students give us some performances, and then,we make sentences together using Comparative and Superlative Degrees. (从学生做展示引出本节的语法点，紧接着找学生来做事例，强化副词的比较等级。学生展示，一可以增加英语课的趣味性，二可以将枯燥的英语变得更加直观，方便学生更好地理解和掌握，真正地学以致用。)

Scene 1: Cui arrives early.

Scene 3: Geng arrives the earliest. （从两个事例出，让学生自己来总结副词比较等级的变化规则。单音节或者部分双音节词加er/est变比较等级。部分双音节词，或者多音节词的副词，比较级在原级前more, 最高级在原级前加(the)most）

Cooking is not as interesting or easy as we see or we do in class. So we should thank for the people who cook for us. We should take more care of them. 课后反思：

在复习环节学生做得都很好，听歌环节学生也是比较兴奋，达到了暖场的目的，也正式进入到了下一个环节。最成功的环节应该是学生展示环节，因为是首次上台展示，学生都比较紧张，不过还是完成了，他们迈出了英语展示的第一步，也启发了我，在今后的课堂中应该加入这样的环节，不同的位置，他们可能就会有不同的发挥。

自身方面，有很多的不足之处，一是语速较快，内容进行的也快。二是板书一直是自己的短板，今天自己也有点紧张，显得比较乱。三是对学生的反馈，没有做到及时准备，有次的反馈。也体现了自己应变能力较差。四是自己口语的不足。
