Step1: Warming up 1. Greeting

T: Class begins. Ss: Stand up. T:Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss... T: Nice to see you, class. Ss: Nice to see you too.

T: Now, let's sing a song < Can you swim> together.

T: Next, let's talk. 用学过的旧知Can you skate/ play table tennis/ run/ play football/ jump/ make a cake/.......? Yes, I can./ No, I can't.的句型让学生进行对话以复习旧知，引出新知Can you draw?并教授新单词draw.

T: Now, let's enjoy another song< What can you see?> ( Unit4 Song time)

T: Next, let's look at the picture and try to say: What can you see? I can see......( a monkey, some trees, a flower.......)

6: Story Time T: Now, let's watch the cartoon and find the answer. Q1:Where are Mike and Tim? Q2: What are they doing?

(看完卡通）Ss: Answer1: They are in the park. Answer2: They are drawing.(不会用英文说公园的话可以用中文表达）在此教授新单词park并揭示课题Drawing in the park. 跟老师读几遍

T：Now, let's look at the picture and try to think what will Tim say?

Ss: Great!/ OK!/ Yes.

T: Tim says " Good idea!" 教授新单词idea，并跟老师读Good idea.

8. Next, let's read and underline the answer. Q1: Can Tim draw a tree and some flowers? Q2: Is it easy for them? （划出文中的句子）Can you draw them? Sure, it's easy. 教读新单词them和easy.

T：Now, can you read Picture2? 出示图2和对话，让学生跟读。当读到第2句话时，教读新单词flower，并组词some flowers. T : (再次出现图2）Let's read after the tape again. Please pay attention to your pronounciation and intonation.

9. Now, let's look at Picture3 and try to think what does Tim say.

Ss: This is a tree and these are some flowers.

T: No, I don't think so. 并揭示答案

This is the tree and these are the flowers. 接着出示刚刚孩子们说的那句话，放在一起进行对比。

This is the tree and these are the flowers. 这是那棵树和那些花。（并揭示这里Tim 说的那棵树和那些花就是刚刚Mike 指的那些）
