U1 How can I get there? Story time教学案例

一、教学目标

（1）知识目标：听说读句子Excuse me. Where is the…? 及回答语：It’s …. (2)能力目标：

A、灵活运用句型Is …far from \near….?及回答：Yes\No. B、

能听懂故事，会表演故事。

(3)情感目标：

懂得合理安排饮食，养成好的饮食习惯。

二、教学重点、难点

（1）重点: 能够听说运用Excuse me, Where is the…?及回答语 It’s…. (2)难点：

A、能听懂会说 tasty ，portions，stomach hurts ,Thames及London Eye。

B、培养学生在实际情境中讲故事的能力。

三、教具准备

头饰卡片，相关课件。

四、教学过程

Step 1、 Warm up 1、 T: Boys and girls, follow me to do actions.“left、right、

turn around” I have a song for you. Let’s enjoy the song together, OK?(T, Ss边唱边做动作) （设计意图：通过歌曲的形式活跃课堂气氛，同时引出方位词left，right为下文的How can Zoom get there? Go straight and turn left.做铺垫）

Step2: Loading. 1、 Free talk T: which words about direction did you listen from this song? Ss: left, right, T: ok, good. Now can you use these words to help Zoom find some food? Because he is hungry引出课题U1“How can I get there?”(板书卡片)(播放课件). T: How can Zoom get to the KFC ? S1：Go straight and turn left(课件上有Flash可供学生表达) （设计意图：学生复习了单元的重点，又为故事做了铺垫）

2、learning (1)T: Oh! Finally. (承上启下) There is so much tasty (操练带读)food in the KFC. Let’s have a look what is Zoom going to eat? (播放课件：three large portions and one small one) T（指着chips）问：Is Zoom hungry now? Ss:No.

(2)T: Oh,dear! His stomach hurts now. (操练stomach hurts并配以相应的图片，方便学生理解) （设计意图：通过zoom’s hungry 导出故事的各个难点，学生易于接受并且贴合故事主题）

T:OK,Let’s continue to learn the story about Zoom ，open your books and turn to P11 Step3: Let’s listen and read.

1. 设问导学

（1）Where is the London Eye? （2）Is the Thames far from Zoom ? （3）How can Zoom get to the Thames? （4）What does Zoom still (还）want to eat ? 2、listen and follow it to read 3、Group-work (answer these questions ) （设计意图：让学生带着问题去听故事录音，整体感知故事，并能根据老师的设计，抓住学习重点，并能回答出问题，有的放矢）

Step4: Let’s role-play. 1、Girls act Zoom ,boys act the boy and the man , Teacher acts Zip 2、Choose one group to act (设计意图：先整体参与角色表演，再挑小组上台展示，这样先大范围，再到小范围，可以避免学生因害羞或对某个单词或句子而带来的

不自信感，也可避免只有四人或六人展示，而其他组却只能当陪衬) Step5: Test for this class. True (T) or False (F) 判断对错 ( )The London Eye is next to the film museum. ( ) The Thames is near Zoom. ( ) Zoom ate two large portions. ( ) Zoom still wants to eat tanghulu. ( ) Zip’s stomach hurts.

(设计意图：根据短文内容，再结合平常的阅读教学，设计几个判断题，巩固本节课重点) Step6: Extension 1. Build healthy eating habits. 2.In the UK, everyone is gentle, please be polite and say “Excuse me ” to ask the way (设计意图：故事专栏富有思想性和价值性，往往通过简短的生活场景对读者进行价值指导。本故事中由Zoom吃多了Fast food导致stomach hurts ,从而告诉孩子要养成良好的饮食习惯) Step7: Summary 1、礼貌问路：“Excuse me , Where is the …”

2、You should balance your diet and keep healthy(养成良好的饮食习惯,保持健康)
