Step1 Warming up: Let’s sing Follow the tape to sing the song : Our school Step2 Revision 1. Two students have a competition to read the words .Then read the words together according to the pictures on the screen. 2. Review the words: water ,tiger ,sister, computer, dinner. Then spell the words together. 3. Summary the rules of the letter group “ er ” at the end of the words. Step3 Story time 1. Introduce the background of the story: T: Zoom and Zip are at school.The school is great. Zip leads many friends to visit the school. But they can’t find Zoom now. Where ‘s zoom? Let’s see. 2. Read the story and tell us the main idea of the story. 3. Play the tape to let the students know about the story. 4. Explain the difficult words and sentences in this part. e.g. Welcome to our school. This way, please. How beautiful! I’m hungry. /I’m full. It’s time for lunch. 3.

Imitate the pronunciation and intonation to read and tell the story. 4.
