教材分析：

本单元以“电”为话题，以节约用电和安全用电为主线。写作部分主要要求学生能根据关键词为家庭生活制定规章，其中涉及用电规则。同时该部分也是对语法部分情态动词must和mustn’t用法的巩固。本节课既对学生在学习阅读文章（Electricity all around）和情态动词用法之后进行复习和巩固，也引导学生联系生活实际运用所学描述规则和看法。

学情分析：

学生在学习本节课前，已学习了本单元的阅读文章，了解了关于电的来源的一些常识，以及电与我们生活的密切联系。另外，学生也学习了语法情态动词can, can’t, may, may not, must, mustn’t的用法。本班为普通班，大多数学生基础都很薄弱，导致平时课堂上不愿也不敢开口读和回答问题，因此课堂设计必须基础简单化，让大部分学生能说得出、写得出，配以小组活动形式，让有基础的学生带动一下其他学生一起学习，达到最好的教学效果。

教学目标：

知识目标：

1. 复习和掌握情态动词用法，重点掌握must，mustn’t用法；

2. 学会用must和mustn’t描述生活中的规则。

能力目标：

1. 提高用英语书面形式描述规则的表达能力；

2. 提高与同伴合作的能力。

情感目标：

懂得生活中规则的重要性，增强遵守规则的意识。

重点：

掌握情态动词must和mustn’t用法并用其描述生活中的规则。

难点：

联系生活实际制定和描述规则并提高语言综合运用能力。
