Step 2 Presentation 1.Let’s ask. T: What’s the matter? (板书What’s the matter?并带读) S: I’m hungry/thirsty/tired/ill. (板书hungry、thirsty、tired、ill并带读) T: Today we will learn Unit 7 What’s the matter? (揭示课题并带读) 2.Try to ask. T: Are you thirsty? S: Yes,I am. T: Are you hungry? S: Yes,I am. T: Are you tired? S: No,I’m not. I’m ill. 【设计意图：通过图片提问和回答渗透句型和单词，帮助学生理解并引出课题What’s the matter?由此进入Story time的学习。】

What’s the matter with Taotao? A. Taotao is ill. B. Taotao is hungry. C. Taotao is thirsty and tired. 【设计意图：引导学生观察卡通，猜测“刘涛怎么了”，激发学生的学习兴趣。】

2.Read picture 1/2,choose and underline. Liu Tao is thirsty. So he says (所以他说) . A. Can I have a pie? B. Can I have some water? C. Can I have a hot dog? 3.Read picture 3/4,choose and underline. Liu Tao is tired ,too. He says(说) A、I want to have some fruit. B、I want to play football. C、I want to go to bed. 【设计意图：引导学生读课文，根据教师设计的问题，在对话中寻找答案，激发学生的学习兴趣。】

Step 4 Read the story 1. Listen and read. (听录音读) 2. Read by yourself.(自己读) 3. Read it together. (打开书，全班齐读) 4. Act in groups. Three students a group. (请两至三组学生上台表演) 【设计意图：鼓励学生用正确的语音、语调朗读，培养学生的语感。加强课文内容的实际操练，让学生在角色扮演中学会关心帮助他人。学生可以根据自己的情况，用头饰和实物表演课文。在此过程中鼓励学生用正确的语音、语调，并配上夸张的表情动作完成任务。】

Step 5 Consolidation 1、先讲故事Vagrant life of Sanmao 3

Sanmao is a poor boy. 三毛是个可怜的孩子。

His parents are died.

他的父母都去世了。

He has to take a vagrant life. 他不得不流浪。

He meets many troubles. 所以他碰见了许多许多的困难。

It’s so cold寒冷的 today, Sanmao has no jacket. He is very cold. Everyday he needs to work.(每天他都得辛苦地去工作) Look, he’s very tired. After working(工作结束后),there’s no water for him to drink, he is very thirsty. After working, he has nothing to eat(没有任何吃的）,he is very hungry too. What a poor boy!But everything will be changed, when he meets you. 多可怜的孩子啊！但是一切即将改变，

因为三毛遇到了你们。

Make a story “ New vagrant life of Sanmao”, talk about it in pairs. （当三毛遇到了你们，会发生什么呢？请创作一个新《三毛流浪记》的故事，小组合作说一说。）
