Unit 5 Seasons (Story time) Teaching aims：

知识目标：

1、能理解、会说、会读、会写单词：season，spring，summer，autumn，winter，warm，hot，cool，cold 2、能理解、会说、会读单词和词语：go boating，go swimming，go climbing，go skating，fly kites，eat ice creams，have picnics，make snowmen 能力目标：

1、能理解并正确朗读课文。

2、能较准确描述自己喜欢的季节。

情感目标：

通过本课的学习，让学生们体会大自然的美丽，享受多彩的生活。

Teaching procedures: Step 1 Greetings and warm-up T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m Angela. I’m not Angelababy.

Angelababy can run fast. But I can sing well. What can you do? Step 2 Before reading 1. Riddles

T: I usually go to KTV to sing. I give you some riddles to guess what activity is it? (1) I have a pair of these shoes: go skating (2) We need some drinks, some food, some fruit and a carpet: have picnics (3) We have a carrot, and snow: make snowmen 2. seasons (1) winter

T: In which picture can we make snowmen? (2) spring, summer, autumn T: What are the pictures about?

Teach: season, spring, summer, autumn (3) In..., it is...

T: What colour is spring? Why?

Teach: warm

Try to say: In spring, it is warm

The same way: hot, cool, cold (4) Enjoy and say. Step 3 While-reading (1) About spring T: It is warm in spring. We go boating in spring. Think and say: What do we do in spring? Listen and answer. Teach: fly kites, go boating (2) Watch and complete.

What do we do in summer/ autumn/ winter? Tip: focus on a one season T: Which season do you focus on? What do we do?

T: Finish different tasks, you will get different stars. Read story time to your parents. 2. Introduce your favourite season to your friends. 3. Decorate your poems with some pictures.
