本班70% 以上都是外来民工子弟学生，学生的差异性较大，但通过二年多的英语学习，学生对英语较感兴趣，能积极参与课堂教学活动。在学本课之前，学生已经掌握了部分与玩具相关的词汇，如kite, ball, car等；并掌握了一些如What, How等句型的问答；能用to be, to have, can, like等句型进行简单的描述，具备了一定的口头表达能力。

单元教学任务分析:

牛津英语3BM2U2的教学主题是Toys。通过In the toy shop, Toys I like, Play with the toys, Make a toy四个小主题，让学生学习几个玩具类的单词：toy train, doll, skateboard, robot。引导学生用Look at the ___. It’s _____. Touch it! It’s ______. It can/has _____.等句型来描述玩具的特征，并能用What do you like? I (don’t) like...句型来表述自己对玩具的喜好。通过单词、句型、对话、语篇的呈现，带动新旧知识的整合，提高学生综合运用英语的能力。
