Catkin the Kitten 教学目标：

知识目标：学生能够理解故事情节；惟妙惟肖地模仿录音；认读单词：bed, bin, bed 认读短语：ran off; 理解和运用“…（not）in/on…”

.能力目标：听懂故事录音；绘声绘色地独立朗读故事；熟练运用“…（not）in/on…”表示位置或处所

情感目标：感受孩子们的情绪变化,培养学生的观察力和想象力；培养学生敢于表达自己的自信和勇气；形成保护动物的意识

教学重点：理解故事情节；熟练运用“…（not）in/on…”表示位置或处所。

教学难点：生动的模仿录音中的语调进行朗读和表演；运用“…（not）in/on…”表示位置或处所。

教学设计：

Greeting+Warm up Listen to the song the Animals on the Farm

“Wilma had a little cat, a kitten. Her name is Catkin. What happened to Catkin? Let’s listen to the story .”

Story-telling

Use words, facial expressions, body language to explain the story. Ask questions about the story and lead them to understand the story.

教学反思：

学生积极性较高，课堂较活跃，学生参与度高，利用Warm up听关于动物的歌曲后，导入阶段提问What animal can you see in the song？

What animal do you have？引发学生热烈讨论，自然过渡到本课内容。直接由图片教具简单呈现故事人物关系，This is Wilma. Wilma had a little cat, a kitten.之后提出问题

What happened to the kitten？整体输入一遍，让学生通过看图大致了解故事内容，之后利用PPT中的故事图片再次详细呈现故事环节，让学生看图逐一听读句子。听读过程设置了简单问题，听读几遍后，通过fill in the blanks和order the pictures 和

retell the story等活动检查学生对故事的理解和熟悉程度，但前面操练较少，学生的输出一般，学生对于She was (not) in/on 句型的掌握一般。应该在听读阶段之后摘出主要句型进行操练，可以利用实物操练，需要准备教具basket，bag或其他之前学过的单词等来操练，并且延伸，新句子套旧词，灵活运用句子。最后设置了游戏：Looking for：找一名学生，把玩具熊藏到教室的任意地方，老师寻找并且提问Was she in the…

学生回答Yes，she was in…

或者No, she was not in…来再次让学生输出，检验学生对该句的掌握如何。
