Unit7 What are they? 教学目标:

一、知识目标: 1. 能听懂、会读、会说、会运用本单元Listen and say,Read and say中的对话。

2. 能听,说,读,写本单元学习的关于动物的单词以及它们的复数形式:ducks,pigs,sheep,cows。

3.能掌握字母a在单词中的基本发声音,并了解其简单的拼音规律。

4.能理解并使用句子What are they?They are…来询问看到的事物,并学会如何回答. 二、能力目标: 1.能够利用本单元核心语言相互交流有关动物的简单话题。

2.能够运用所学的知识,在图片的帮助下,听懂,读懂英语对话,并能仿照对话内容与同伴进行信息交流与沟通。

3.能掌握字母在单词中的基本发音

4.能听懂、会说、表演本单元Let’s act内容

5.能正确书写四线格中的句子。

三、情感、文化、策略目标: 1. 激发学生学习语言的兴趣,调动学生参与课堂活动的积极性,培养学生小组合作的意思,帮助学生积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流,注意倾听,积极思考。

2. 通过学习有关动物知识的学习,激发学生对大自然的热爱之情,帮助学生养成保护动物的好习惯。

学情分析

小学四年级的学生有较强的自行探究的能力,学生在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都有了较好的提高,有着强烈的好奇心与动手操作的能力。他们喜欢在自己的探索中获取知识,喜欢在玩中学,喜欢在做中学,喜欢在想中学,喜欢在用中学。对周边的事物产生着浓厚的兴趣,有着强烈的学习愿望,但不能自觉地从生活中进行学习,也不能很好地把知识用于生活中。在学习的方式上,存在着单一式的学习,缺乏合作学习的习惯,不能做到与人交流,与人对话。喜欢受到表扬或赞美,喜欢发表自己的见解,有时是很幼稚的见解。

. 4.1 第一学时

4.1.1教学目标

. Knowledge aims: To master the four-skill words “ducks,pigs, sheep, cows, geese.”; To understand and speak the sentence pattern “What are they? They are ...”.And use the sentence in real situations. Ability aims: To develop the abilities of listening and speaking; To train the ability of working in groups; To foster the abilities of communication. Emotion aims:

To love nature, to love animals. 4.1.2学时重点

To understand and speak the sentence pattern “What are they? They are ...”.And use the sentence in real situations. 4.1.3学时难点

(1)To master the four-skill words “ducks,pigs, sheep, cows, geese.”

(2)Master the animal plural noun. 4.1.4教学活动

. 活动1【导入】Step1 . 1.Greetings! Good morning boys and girs! How are you?

2.Sing an English song. 3.Revision: Show the words: solider

and read the words 活动2【导入】Step2

1.The teacher shows the picture of “pig” on screen and then ask “What’s this?”

2.The teacher shows three pigs on screen and ask :”What are they?”

Lead to the sentence pattern: “What are they? They are...”

3.Ask Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs. 4.The same way to learn “cows, ducks”

5.Pay attention to the word “sheep”

“one sheep--some sheep”

6.Show three geese on screen and ask:”What are they?”

Pay attention to “goose---geese”

7.Ask Ss to write down the words on exercise books. 8.Choose the right sentences. 9.The teacher shows the pictures of the text . Play the tape and ask:

“What do they see?”

活动3【练习】Step3

. 1.Read the dialogue. 2.Ask students to read in groups. 3. Fill in the blanks. 4.Show the big farm on the screen and then circle the animals. Play a game. “Challenge Memory Game”

活动4【作业】Step4 . 1.Sing a song. 2. What have we learnt in this class? 3.Homework 1). Listen to the tape. Read after Listen and say. 2). Make farm poster, draw the are you familiar with farm animals.
