教材分析：

本节课是小学英语四年级上册校本教材第一单元，授课内容为关于节日的单词和母亲节的相关单词短语和句子。掌握教学目标中所提出的重点单词，熟练掌握并运用重点句型及回答作为本课教学重难点。

教学目标：

1. 知识目标：回顾中西方的节日名称。母亲节相关的单词。

2. 能力目标：能够听懂并用英语流利的表达自己眼中的妈妈和对妈妈想说的话，感受妈妈的爱。

3. 情感目标：通过本课的交流，学会感恩。

教学重点：

能够听懂并用英语流利的表达自己眼中的妈妈和对妈妈想说的话感受妈妈的爱。

教学难点：

通过本课的交流，学会感恩。

教学过程：

StepⅠ: Warm Up: 1.

Greeting T: Good morning, class. Ss: Good morning, Miss Wang. T: Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you, too. 2.

Listening.

T: Now let’s play a guessing game. You listen first and then tell me which festival? （通过听歌猜节日，让同学们感受节日的氛围，从而回顾节日的相关知识，从而自然引出母亲节的教学主题。）

StepⅡ: The Importance T:It first appeared in the ancient Greece. It falls on the second Sunday of May. Do you know each letter stands for one thing. Let’s see it.

M: is for many things mother gives us. O: maybe we grow up, but our mother becomes old.

T：is for the tears. H: is for her heart. E: is for our moms’ eyes. R: right and right always be. (通过同学们不断重复把手放在心上对妈妈的感谢，不断重复的Thank you, mom.让孩子们意识到对妈妈的爱。) T: OK.
