知识目标：

1、复习本单元的地点名词。

2、可以熟练地用英语谈论你的学校。

能力目标：

在有趣的故事中熟练运用this is/that is和Is this…/Is that句型。

情感目标：

让学生感受学习英语的快乐，培养学生的竞争意识和团队精神。

Step1 Warm-up All the students stand up and sing the song《Our school》。

Step 2 Review

review the new words that we have learnt in this unit, the teacher give some riddles about the new word and ask the students to guess. At the same time, give out the word cards to the students to design our school：

garden

teachers’office library Art room computer room music room

gym

class room Step 3 PK1

Divide the students into two teams. And make sentences with the sentence structure: This is …

That is … the more the better pay attention ,each team just has one minute. Step 4 PK2 Each group choose the students to guess the answer of the questions. If the answer is right , the team will get one point.to practice the sentences:Is this…/Is that…?Yes , it is./No, it isn’t. One students will get a surprise. Step 5 story time Watch the video of the story time together then answer the question:Who is hungry? Read after the tape. 【Team work】

To practice the story in groups. Act the story . Step 6 draw a picture of our school Draw a picture of our school ,and introduce your picture with the sentences in this unit. Homework: Design a school you like best.
