Teaching aims 1.

Knowledge aims Enable the students to learn the sentence patterns: He should see a doctor. Don’t be angry. Enable the students to learn the words of feelings such as happy, angry, afraid, sad , worried. Enable the students to understand the meaning of the whole dialogue 2.

Ability aims

Enable the students to express their own feelings. Enable the students to pay attention to the intonation and facial expression when they are reading a dialogue. 3.

Emotion aims Enable the students to care more about others especially their fathers and mothers.

Teaching focus and difficulties

1.Enable the students to read the dialogue with feelings. 2.Enable the students to learn and use the sentence such as:

He should see a doctor.

Don’t be sad. 3.Enable the students to understand the use and pronunciation of these words: wrong ,should , feel, well.

Presentation/Practice Step1 Greetings and lead-in 1.

Review five words of feelings together. 3.

Show a picture of Sam and Sarah and discuss their feelings.

Step2 Listening and circle Listen and learn the background knowledge of the conversation by answering two questions.(Sam and Sarah’s parents are talking about going to the zoo.) 1.What are they talking about? A.Going to the zoo.
