教学过程：

Step1 :

课前准备及复习

1.

看幻灯片复习单词：traffic lights , turn right ,turn left ,go straight，street，city。（用city图片介绍：There are many streets in the city。用图让学生理解含义，为学生理解故事中句子扫清障碍。）

2.

Greeting：

师生问好。

教师提问：What day is today ？学生回答

3.播放幻灯片，根据幻灯片中图片及问题进行回答。

小熊迷路了，帮助他找到合适的路。

提问：Where is ……？根据地图中位置进行回答。（两组问答，既是复习旧知识也是为下面的故事服务，便于学生理解。）

通过小熊的话引出新课。

Step 2. 新课内容展示

1.

看视频，回答问题。

T:Which animals（哪些动物）can you see in the story? Ss： a cat ,a dog , a bird ,Kitty .。通过提问a cat 和Kitty的关系（sisters），介绍她们不在一起，提问学生Where is Kitty ? In the city .(板书部分课题)。由此引出下面的环节。

2.分部分默读课文，按要求完成习题

1） Look at picture 1 What is the cat going to do ? I am going to visit her . （通过单词see，watch 引导学生理解visit的含义。）引出句子I miss Kitty .（用not together ，及visit her 解释miss 含义。）

2）Look at picture 2 1.Where is Kitty？

She is in the city . 2.What happened ？

There are many new streets in the city .Where is my sister’s home ?(板书) 得出结论：The cat is lost . 板书Lost ，完成课题 Lesson 18 Lost in the city .领读课题。

3）Look at picture 3-4 1.What does the dog say ？

Look ！Go straight and turn left.（板书）

2.Can the dog help the cat ？ No. It’s the MICE house ，not the NICE house. 4）Look at picture 5-6 1.What does the old bird say ？

Go straight and turn right at the traffic light . 2.Can the dog help the cat ？ Yes. It’s the NICE house. 教师提问：Is the cat happy or sad to see Kitty ？ What does they say ？

3.第二次默读课文，完成活动手册48页第二题。

4.听力

完成活动手册第一题，听音，排序。

5.读课文

（1）模仿磁带读。

（2）模仿教师连读、略读。

Step 3. 合作交流，师生共建

1..根据幻灯片提示，复述故事。

Step4. 评价，家庭作业，下课

评价后引出格言：A friend in need is a friend indeed . 患难见真情。

作业：1.活动手册P49，第3题。

2.Act the story after class .课下表演故事。
