Part C Story time

教学目标:

1.学生能够理解此部分story 里面的内容,并对类似的英语动漫story感兴趣。

2.学生能够掌握Is this / Is that 的用法及两者在距离上的区别,并this / that 进行简单的会话。

3.学生可以分角色扮演此story的内容,并能模仿人物的语音语调。

教学重难点:

重点:对Is this/ Is that 的运用训练

难点:学生role play 时对语音语调的模仿

教具准备:

课本、story time部分的动画及录音、相关卡片、带有Zoom,Zip等头像的头饰,课件

教学过程:

一、Warm-up & Revision

1、Greeting

T: Good morning! Boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning! Teacher.

T: Boys and girls, welcome back to school. Do you like our school? Ss: Yes, I do.

T: I am also like our school very much. So, I have took many many photos about our school. Do you want to have a look?

Ss: Yes, I do.

2、Revision

T: Ok! Let’s have a Look! Now, please look at the screen. Where is it? (在ppt上展示一张学校二楼图书馆的图片)

Ss: It’s the library.

T: Where’s the library?

Ss: It’s on the second floor.

T:Good job! Then what about this?(展示一张一楼教师办公室的图片) Ss: It’s the teachers’ office.

T: Where’s the teachers’ office.

Ss: It’s on the first floor.

(以同样的方式操练playground,computer room, art room, music room等单词)

T:You are so clever! And you are so familiar about our school. Today we have some new friends come to our school. Let’s welcome them and and show them around, OK?

Ss: OK!

二、Presentation(呈现新课)

Step 1: Look, listen and answer

(PPT出示课文图片,教师带领学生观察图片并展开讨论)

T: Look at this picture. Who are they?

S: They are some guests and the teacher.

T: Yes. Do you want to know what do they say in picture1? Let’s listen.

(播放图1的动画录音)

T: What does the teacher say?

S: Welcome to our school! This way, please.

T: Yes, very good! What do the guests say?

S: How beautiful!

T: Good job! Now, Let’s watch the cartoon to see what happen.

Step 2: Listen,watch and answer

(播放课文动画,然后让学生选择正确答案)

1.Where are they in picture2?

A: In the library. B: In the music room.

2.Is that the music room in picture3?

A: No, it isn’t. B.Yes, it is.

3.Is this the gym in picture4?

A: No, it isn’t. B.Yes, it is.

4.Is this the computer room in picture5?

A: No, it isn’t. B.Yes, it is.

5.Where is Zoom in picture6?

A: He is in the gym. B. He is in the lunch room.

Step 3: Read and check the answer.

T: Now, I will give you 3 minute to read carefully and choose the best answer. Let’s begin.

(教师给学生3分钟,让学生仔细阅读故事内容并选择正确答案,然后让学生举

手回答问题,再核对正确答案,解析答案时重点强调this 和that的区别) Step4: Read the story

a. Listen and repeat. (听录音,重复句子后跟读课文,鼓励学生模仿录音中的语音语调)

b. Read after the teacher. (教师带读时也要特别注意模仿语音语调)

c. Read together.(全班齐读,然后分小组竞赛读)

Step5: Group work

T:Now, I’d like to give you 5 minute to read out the story with you partner, and I will ask you to come here to act the story. Ok?

Ss: Ok!

(教师给学生5分钟,让学生5人一个小组朗读故事内容,然后每人选一个角色

模仿语音语调扮演故事)

Step6: Act the story

T: Ok! Time’s up. It’s show time for you. Can you act the story? Now, I’d like to invite some of you to the blackboard and act it out.

(教师组织学生五人一组,模仿语音语调带着头饰表演课文。)

【设计意图:表演课文可以帮助学生复习、巩固课文,学生带着头饰,将故事内容进行脱稿表演是提高学生语言能力和学习兴趣的最佳方式。】

Step 7: Summary & Homework

T:Wonderful! All of you have did a good job! Do you like the story? Ss: Yes, I do.

T: So, next time, if your friends come to our school, can you show them around?

Ss: Yes, I can.

T: Very good! And don’t forget to use the sentence style: Is this...?/ Is that...? OK?

Ss: OK!

T: That’s all about today’s lesson. See you next time! Ss: See you!
