一. Materials analysis : Based on the fashion show video, students learn to talk about fashion shows. Meanwhile learn the grammar – object clauses. And students learn to get information from the poster .What’s more , students learn to design the poster with the help the information provided by the teacher .Because we have learned the clothes in Grade 7 , I invited some students from Grade 7 to join our class . 二．Teaching aims : Knowledge aims : 1.

Review the words about clothes . 2.

Learn to talk about fashion shows. 3.

Get on learning object clauses, especially the past tense . Skill aims: 1.Be able to listen to the introduction or conversation about fashion shows. 2 Students can find out some information from posters and describe it by using object clauses. Emotional aims: 1.

Enjoy fashion shows and develop the sense of beauty. 2.

Learn to cooperate with partners to finish questionnaire and designing posters . 三．Teaching important points: 1.Listen to the introduction of the class fashion show ,get the detailed information about models and opinions of the fashion show. 2.Learn to talk about fashion shows and express ideas by using object clauses. 四.Teaching difficult points: 1.Make an arrangement of the sentences about the fashion show ,and change into a conversation . 2. Students can catch the information from the poster and learn to design their own posters after the poster. 五．Teaching aids: 1.Multimedia teaching . 2.Pictures and envelops. 六.Teaching procedures: Step1:Warming up、

1.Watch the video of the class fashion held by students.

2.Show the pictures of clothes and tell the teacher the words . 3.Find out the missing clothes .Delete some clothes and ask students what clothes are missing . （设计意图：班级服装秀的视频导入，吸引学生注意力，加深课题印象。游戏词汇热身，复习了服装类词汇，并激发学生记忆单词的兴趣。）

Homework 1. Polish your poster and try to design your own clothes for the fashion show . 2 . Write down your fashion show plan with sentences we have learnt today , 50 words included. Meanwhile you learn to apply object clauses to your writing. Pay attention to your handwriting . （设计意图：本节的听说的表达，通过家庭作业提升为书面表达，增加学生语言运用能力，以及知识拓展，课程资源的开发。）
