Oxford English Module 2 My favourite things Unit 2 Cute Animals Teacher: Joyce (胡嘉琳) 一、学情分析：

本班学生学习情况差异较大。有花时间进行课外英语阅读，词汇量大，口头表达能力强，思维活跃，敢于表现的学生，也有仅能基本掌握教学内容，怯于表达和表现的普通学生。更有几乎不能进行口头表达的特殊学困生。学生学习英语的能力差异较大. 本班学生对于有故事情节的教学较有兴趣，喜欢动植物，喜欢自然。对于课堂竞赛，小组合作进行活动的授课形式有较大的兴趣，部分学生有较强的好胜心，这在以往的课堂活动中经常体现出来。本班学生在表达时语法错误时有发生，语言的连贯度也有所欠缺。在之前的教学反馈中，我发现学生用英语思维的能力较弱。因此本单元授课时我设立情境让学生参与思考，提高他们的英语思维能力，体会用英语表达的实际意义。

二、单元教学整体设计

故事情节：

Kitty作为动物保护协会的志愿者接受了Supergirl的专访。Kitty家里养了很多只猫，其中她最喜欢的是Ginger。在她遇见Ginger时，Ginger正因为抓不到老鼠被主人赶出而流浪街头。Kitty的善良让很多人知道了动物保护协会这个组织，也让很多人开始注意和浏览网页上的内容。其中有动物之间的故事，也有其他志愿者们与他们的动物的故事。希望志愿者们的爱能够打动所有人，让人类和动物成为真正的好朋友。

借助动物协会网站这个平台，利用适量的图片和词汇进行故事的阅读和描述

体会动物之间的情谊

第四课时

Animals are our 学生在语境中学习词汇，vet, pet, add, friends maths camp 继续借助动物协会网站这个平台，利用适量的图片和词汇进行故事的阅读和描述

体会人与动物之间的情谊，从而更加热爱自然和身边的动物
