教学目标:

1.语言知识目标:

掌握单词:last ,gold ,practice ,cup ,come ,win及其过去式came ,won . 掌握句型:When did they come?

They came last Wednesday.

What did she play?

She played the flute. 2.语言技能目标:能运用句型谈论过去发生的事件。

3.情感目标:培养学生的交流合作意识,教育学生应该能做到:

Practise makes perfect. Where there is a will ,there is a way . 二、教学重难点:

1.教学重点:正确使用疑问词:what , when

一般过去时中的不规则动词win-won ,come-came 2.教学难点:Students are able to talk about the news with the past verbs. 三、教学准备:

图片,单词卡片,PPT 四、教学过程:

Step1. Warm up

a. Greeting : How are you? What’s the weather?

b. Review the words and the past verbs. c. Free talk: What did you do yesterday? 出示六张图片表示六种动作,老师问,找学生回答,齐答。

同桌两个互相问答。

(设计理念:通过过去时来回答问题激活学生已有旧知识和能力。) Step 2. Presentation

Look at the picture! Last week ,some English children came to China.

What did they do ? Do you know ? Let’s listen !

设计理念:呈现问题,为进一步学习做铺垫。

Step 3.New teaching a.Listen and answer the question:

Did they come for the music competition?

When did they come? What did she play? (设计理念:通过问答让学生理解感悟课文提高语言运用能力,同时提供了合作与交流的空间使学生的语言在合作中得到培训,并教育学生“Practice makes perfect.”) b. Find out the key structures with “what” and “when”.
