第一课时

step1. warmer.

1. Sing the song on page30.

Where do you come from?

(Where are you from?) 2. Look at the flags and make a new dialogue.

T: Where are you from?

S1: I’m from China. I can speak Chinese. T: I am from America. I can speak English. S1:Oh,so good.

T: Pleased to meet you.

S1: Pleased to meet you.

Step2.Review the usage of can.

1.Affirmative. I can speak Chinese. 2.Negative. I can’t speak Chinese. 3.Interrogative. Can you speak Chinese? Yes, I can./ No, I can’t. Step3.Lead-in 1.Tell a story

2.Present the title. Step 4.Review the words. 1.The teacher show the cards, have the students read them, if they can’t read them, so the teacher guide reading.

2.Spell the words.( pleased, address, pen friend, pretty, foreign, fantastic, visiting, write to…).

3.Play the game: pass the card and make a new

sentences.
