教学设计

一.学生分析:

通过三年的英语学习,他们对英语学习的兴趣浓厚,有一定的模仿能力。对四年级学生要进一步培养学生的听说技能,对学生进行对话和语篇教学,培养学生语言交际能力。本册书重点语言点是一般过去时,通过前面的学习学生们能正确运用这一时态,本课用What happened to your head? 句型来询问病情,引入新的语言点,引发学生更好地感知语言,运用语言。

二.教材分析:

本课是新标准小学英语一起四年级上册,Module 9 Unit 1 What happened to your head? 本课以Daming讲述自己受伤原因及过程为主线,将Daming告诉Lingling 和Amy自己经历的过程以故事形式呈现在学生面前。学生在故事的推进中学习如何描述一次事故。要求学生能够理解和听,说单词:thirsty,bike,ride,watermelon,fall off,fall over 以及句型:What happened to your head?学生能在课文语境下初步理解和使用句型。

三.教学目标:

1.知识目标:

词汇:能够理解和听说单词thirsty,bike,ride,watermelon,fall off,fall over

句型:学生能在课文语境下初步理解和使用句型:What happened to your head?

2.能力目标:

能够听懂并初步理解对话内容。

能够听、说、理解重点单词thirsty,bike,ride,watermelon,fall off,fall over

能在课文语境下初步理解和使用句型What happened to your head?

能够分角色朗读课文。

3.情感目标:

通过形式多样的活动树立学生的自信心,培养学生之间的合作意识。

四.教学重难点:

1.能够在故事教学的同时,对学生进行对话教学和简单语篇教学,培养学生语言交际能力。

2.能在课文语境下初步理解和使用句型. What happened to your head?

PPT演示文稿、教学光碟、卡片。

教学过程:

一.Warm up:

1. 问题引导:

T: Now It’s in winter. The road is slippy. Last week my friend went out, Do you know what happened? She fell over. She didn’t hurt a lot.

白板即写功能出示:happen ,教授happen一词。学生拼读,指名读词。

二.Presentation:

(看CD-ROM ) T: What happened to the bear? Let’s watch Part 1. S: The bear fell off the tree.

让学生模仿跟读导入部分。

三.Learn new lesson:

1. 故事呈现:T:This story is about “ watermelon” ,

Learn: watermelon.

(设计意图:复习学生喜欢的水果,引出关于西瓜的故事,为感知文本做准备)

Let’s watch the story. (整体感知故事)

2.Watch again:

1)T:What did lingling and Amy ask Daming?

S1: What happened to your head? (板书课题)

2)Read in pairs and discuss the questions.

课件呈现如下问题,学生小组合作解决问题。

1.What did Sam and Daming do yesterday?

2.T:And then?

3.Did they buy some water? What did they buy?

4.Where did Sam carry the watermelon?

5.What happened to Sam and Damig?

小组汇报:

1.They went for a bike ride.

学习:bike ride , 拓展horse ride, car ride

2.They were hungry and thirsty.

学习:thirsty.

T:Are you thirsty?S: Yes, I am./ No, I’m not.

(在语境中学习理解单词,把生词的学习带入句型中操练,做到词不离句)

3.No, they bought a watermelon.

4.Sam carried it on his bike.

学习:carry.

师示范动作帮助学生理解carry一词含义。

I carry the desk to here. I carry the bags on the desks.

5. Sam fell off his bike.

Daming bumped his head.

学习:fell off

T: What happened to the monkey?

S: He fell off the tree.

T: What happened to the boy?

S: He fell over.

课件出示上面两幅图片解决fell off 与fell over 这两个词汇认知和理解的难点,之后生生操练本课的重点句型。

(设计意图:在单词的学习上,让孩子在音,形,义上理解掌握单词;教师始终做到:词不离句,把本课重点句型与新授单词紧密结合,让学生充分操练句型。学生在问题牵动下,深层次理解学习课文重点语句: What happened to your head?并在真实语言环境中运用操练,培养学生的语言运用能力。)

3.Watch the story the third time .Let the Ss imitate the story.( 设计意图:第三次播放课文内容,学生跟读,通过模仿练习法,培养学生正确的语音语调。纠正学生发音错误。培养学生形成良好的语流和语感。) 4.Act the text . (设计意图:教师在教学中要运用鼓励性语言,运用奖励机制-粘贴,激发并让孩子保持学习英语的积极性。回归语篇,有感情的表演,不仅很好的训练学生的语音语调,而且让学生读出兴趣,为后继语言实践活动做铺垫。)

四.Extension:

1.选词填空:thirsty, bike ride. watermelon. fell off .carried

•What happeded to you?

•Sam and I went for a bike ride.

•Sam fell off his bike. I bumped my head.

(设计意图:展示故事文本,补充完整故事情节,逐步实现由情境感知理解到语言内容感知理解的过渡。)

2. 表演剧:At the doctor’s

•Doctor:What happened to you?

•A: I bumped my head.

•B: I cut my finger.

•C: I hurt my knees.

•D: I fell over and hurt my leg.

•E: I’ve got a cold

(设计意图:运用新的语言材料,结合图片和文字,激发学生的语用兴趣。在描述过程中,充分运用本课学习的新词汇和句型,实现用一般过去时描述看病的过程,体现学中用,用中学的特点)
