教材分析：本课时是义务教育教科书英语（广州版）

五年级上册第二课时，

主要让学生能用所学词组、句型描述天气和在各种天气下的衣着和活动

教学目标：

本课时围绕天气和在各种天气下的衣着和活动为主题展开教学活动。核心任务是引导学生能在听、说、读、写的基础上对各种天气下的衣着和活动进行综合的描述。

能够理解和运用本单元的单词和句型

语言技能目标：

能根据音标自学单词发音，

能根据日常生活常识知识，描述不同地方的各种天气下的衣着和活动

学习策略：

通过自主学习、小组合作学习、“先学后教，当堂训练”、课堂表演、短文的改编和仿写等学习方式，提高课堂效率，提高学生的英语综合能力

学情分析：1.四年级奥班的学生，思维活跃，学习能力较好，乐于表达、创造,有一定的自学能力，较易掌握新的知识，但英语综合能力有待提高

2.学生已经在本模块的第一课时初步认识天气的词和句型

3.课堂上，学生能灵活运用小组合作学习

4.学生能用自然拼读法，自学单词的发音

重点难点

让学生自学课文内容，掌握相关的天气单词及衣着、活动

（2）

运用所学知识，通过课外短文的改编、仿写、设计问题并回答等学习方式，提高英语综合应用能力

教学过程:

Step 1

Lead-in Let the students read the learning targets

Step 2

Learn the new text In this step , the students will have 3 tasks. Task 1

Before this class, the students have learned the new text by themselves. In this task, the students will fill in the blank and learn the new knowledge about the new text. Task 2

Check the answers of the blank, get the students to find out the new words in the new text, and let the student learn the

pronunciations with phonics. Task 3

Play a game to help the students review the words of the weather.

Step 3

Learn the extracurricular text “Different weather in different places”

In this step , the students will have 3 tasks.

Task 1

To get the students to learn the new words of

the extracurricular text in groups. Task 2

According to the extracurricular text, each student’s group will choose one of the tasks: write a new passage, make a performance, ask and answer the questions.

Task 3

Check the result, let each student’s group shows and share their passages, performances and questions, get the students to learn how to use useful expressions.

Step 4

Summary and homework This step has 4 parts. Part 1

Get the students to retell what they have learned.

Part 2.

Get the students to know we should do our best to protect the earth, for example, plant trees, use less plastic products Part 3

Homework for today.

Part 4

Tell the students which group is the winner in this class.
