Book5 Unit 3 Dates (period 4) 教学内容:Reading and writing 教学目标

(一)

语言知识目标:

1.词汇:能听懂理解special, housework, do something ,sweep the floor, clean the living room ,wash the dishes and wash the clothes 等。

2.句子: What can you do for your mother ? I can …

(二)语言技能目标:

1.听:能听懂阅读材料,培养学生在阅读中获取信息的能力。

2.说:能熟练地运用所学句型进行询问,并能口头回答老师所提的问题。

3.读:能正确朗读Reading and writing 的小短文,回答短文的问题。

4..写学生能掌握写“感谢条”的格式与要求,并能通过独立自主阅读地阅读感谢条完成相关的对话练习,能正确写出短文问题的答案。

(三)情感态度与价值观:通过生日会送礼物的情景渗透“感恩”教育,学生学会孝敬父母。

教学重点:教会学生阅读的技巧与方法,培养学生在阅读中获取信息的能力。

教学难点:掌握一定的阅读技巧和“感谢条”的基本格式与要求,完成阅读后面的练习。

教学准备;ppt 教学过程; Step1:Warm up 1.

Chant : When’s your birthday ?(设计意图:通过歌谣复习重要句型,让学生很快融入轻松愉快的氛围。) 1

Free talk : What’s the date today ? It’s … When’s …? It’s … (设计意图:帮助学生复习巩固本单元的核心句型) Step2:Presentation Pre-reading Lead in T:Hello! Boys and girls .Please look at the calendar.What’s the date today? (教师用ppt 出示日历,让学生看日历作出正确的回答)

S:It’s July 1st. T: Yes, today is July 1st .It’s a special day for Tony’ mother . It’s her mother’s birthday. Tony and Jenny have a good idea. (教师在与学生的交谈中引出单词“special”,并板书,让学生试读并帮助学生理解其意思) They want to give her a nice present. Look at the picture .They’re waliking to school and talking about it . What are Tony and Jenny going to give their mother ? Now, please listen to the tape .(设计意图:先让学生对短文有初步的感知) Step3 While -reading 1..Ask the students to find out the words they don’t understand. 2.教师利用ppt先出示礼物的图片。

T: What’s this ?

教师引导学生回答:It’s a present . 让学生用自然拼读法试读单词。接着教师再问: What are they ?

引导学生回答:They’re presents .然后教师再出示sweep the floor ,clean the living room ,wash the dishes and wash the colthes 的图片。T:What can she/ he do ?

引导学生回答:She /He can … 最后老师说:They’re housework. (设计意图:借助图片和肢体语言帮助学生理解其意思。)

7.Read the dialogue together,then finish the exercise (P33):Read and write . Step4 Post –reading 1.T:Tony and Jenny held a birthday party for their mother and invited their friends to come to the party . Jenny wants to write “Thank You“ note to her friend Donna .Now , let’s read the “Thank You“ note together,and then help her finish the dialogue.(设计意图:考查学生快速阅读的能力,并要求学生掌握感谢条的格式和注意要点) “ThankYou” note

Sunday July 10th

Dear Donna,

Thank you for coming to my mother’s 32th birthday party yesterday. Your present is so nice. She likes your birthday card . My mother is very happy .

Donna and her mom are talkng about Jenny’s mother’s birthday.
