Lesson 4: Shoes and Socks Step 1. Class Opening and Review 1.Greeting

Say hello

2.Review Chant:What are you wearing ? I’m

wearing a shirt.

What are you wearing ? I’m

wearing a sweater.

What is she wearing ? She is

wearing a coat. What is he wearing ? He is

wearing a cap.

让学生根据自己穿的衣服Chant。安排自编的一首有关服装的说唱,很自然的把学生带入到英语课堂中来。

Step 2. New Concepts 1.

Shoes, socks, dress, shorts. 1).Demonstrate T: Point to it then tell me. Ss: Shoes..鞋... T: Shoes. Say it, please.

Ss: Shoes.

T: What colour are these? Ss: Black. T: What are these?(出示图片)

Ss: Socks…袜子…

T: Socks. Follow me, please.

Ss: Socks.

T: Are you wearing socks? S1: Yes. T: What colour are they? S1: White. I’m wearing white socks.

T:What are you wearing?(指向一个穿连衣裙的女生)

S2: I’m wearing 连衣裙.

T: Dress. Read after me , please. Ss: Dress. T: What colour is it ? S3: Yellow and purple. T: Is it beautiful? Ss: Yes, it is. T: Are you wearing dress?( Point to the boy) S3: No, I’m wearing shorts…短裤…

T: Shorts. Say it, please. Ss: Shorts. T: or ,for, more, morning, short. ×××is short, he is wearing shorts.(帮学生找出short与shorts的联系,通过联想法记忆单词)

前几课中所学到的单词,并且由词汇卡片很自然的引出了新授单词把新授的单词融会到简单的学生能理解的句子当中,给学生创造英语语境,避免死板的跟读单词。给学生渗透英语字母组合的读音规律,帮助学生记忆单词。

教师给学生们出示单词卡片(新词与旧词混到一起),

让学生们认读后,教师任意抽出一张卡片放在背后,依次让学生猜,猜对的学生教师给相应的服装图片奖励,然后教师再出另一张继续让学生们猜。)

Yes, They are. 以游戏方式练习所学单词,学生会非常感兴趣,在不知不觉中掌握新学单词。

Point to the pictures, do a question-and-answer drill about shoes, socks, dress, shorts… Ask “Is this his/ her__? or Are these his /her__?”

出示课件,展示一些服装,让学生进行讨论,练习本课所学的单词和句型。

3. Check for understanding Step 3 .Class Closing Homework :Talk about the clothes which you are wearing with your friends.
