教学目标:
1.知识目标:
(1)能听、说、读、写本课新单词:
by ship ,by plane ,by bus, by train,stay in a hotel, stay with my aunt and uncle, go camping, go sightseeing.
(2)能听说认读句型:How are you going to … I’m going by… .
Where are going to stay ? I’m going to stay with /in… .
2.技能目标: 能够运用句型:How are you going to Guangzhou? Where are you going to stay?询问并回答,流畅地与他人进行关于假期计划的交流。
3.情感目标
(1)通过老师创设的真实的情景教学,激发学生学习的兴趣,集中学生的注意力,提高学习效率。
(2)通过小组合作,培养学生良好的合作精神。
教学重、难点: 教学重点:熟练运用:How are you going to Guangzhou? Where are you going to stay?
与人对话交流。
教学难点:能基本掌握一般将来时的概念及用法。
教学准备:
多媒体课件、单词卡片。
教学过程:
Step 1. Warm- up Free talk T:Hello! Boys and girls. What day is it today? S:Today is Thursday.
T:Oh, yes! It’s Thursday today. This weekend is coming. Where are you going this weekend ? S;I’m going to… .
T:What are going to do there ? S:I’m going to … .
T:May Day is coming. Today we’re going to talk about “Vacation Plans”。(show the title and read) 【设计意图:课前师生进行简单的会话,可以培养学生在真实的语言情景中进行自由交际的能力,使学生快速地融入到英语学习中去。】
Step 2. Presentation 1.
教师创设班里一位同学打算在May Day 去广州旅行的情景,然后出示这位同学的一张照片、Guangzhou 、bus、stay in a hotel等图片。教师利用Where are going for a vacation? How are you going to get there ? What are going to do there ? Where are you going to stay ?等句型提问这位学生,引导学生看图回答,通过教师与学生的对话从而引出词组:by bus, go sightseeing,stay in a hotel和句型:How are you going to Guangzhou ? We’re going by bus. Where are you going to stay ? We’re going to stay in a hotel.然后板书,再让学生读。
2.教师利用相同的方法引出词组:by plane、by ship、stay with my aunt and uncle、go camping,板书之后让学生读。【设计意图:新课的导入自然顺畅,利用学生身边最熟悉的话题(旅游)来展开话题,让学生感觉既亲切又轻松。】
3.Play a game:
通过听声音,让学生猜出某种交通工具。
【设计意图:用guessing的游戏紧紧吸引住学生,让学生积极思考,大胆猜测,也很好地巩固了新单词。】
4.Pair work:句型操练,教师出示Beijing, Shanghai,Hainan,Guilin,zhuhai,Shenzhen等地方的图片,让学生运用句型:How are you going to … ? Where are you going to stay
?进行交际。【设计意图:通过Pair work巩固所学语言,充分调动学生的积极性。】
5.Pair work:Make a dialogue A;Hello!__________. May Day is coming. Where are you going on your vacation ? B;I’m going to… . A:How are you going to get there ? B:I’m going by… .
A:What are ou going to do there ? B:I’m going to … .
A:Where are you going to stay ? B:I’m going to stay with /in … .
A;Have a nice vacation! B:Thank you . A:You are welcome. 【设计意图:通过Pair work让学生运用所知识进行交流,加深记忆,学以致用,培养学生综合语言运用的能力。】
Step3.Practice Finish the exercise:Practice 1 and practice 2. Step4.Sina a song. 【设计意图:通过Song让学生进一步活跃起来,学生能在轻松的氛围中把知识牢记于心。】
Step5. Summary 1.
Read the phrases and the sentences 2.
小结一般将来时的用法和句子结构。
Step6 Homework: 1).Copy the new words and sentences. (抄单词和句型。)
2).Talk about your vacation plans with your friend’s .(与你的朋友谈谈你的假期计划。)
板书设计:
Unit 2 Vacation Plans Where are you going for a vacation? I’m going to Guangzhou.
