教材分析：

本课为北师大版小学英语三年级起点四年级上册第四单元的第二课时，本课主要教学内容分为三部分，故事教学和单词对话教学和歌曲。本课的侧重点在于学生对故事的理解，通过关注故事中Bobby 的爸爸和妈妈正在做的事情引导学生在情景中进一步理解某人正在做某事的句型，如He’s fishing. She’s cooking.通过故事中Ken 和Ann主动向Bobby的妈妈问好以及在吃晚餐时表示感谢的情节，渗透了做客礼仪的教育。Learn to say 的内容是有关某个正在进行的动作的表达，更贴近学生的实际生活，学习特别感兴趣，而且部分单词在第一课时已经学过，因而本节的重点单词为eating

学情分析：

四年级的孩子已经学习了一年的英语，有一定的英语基础，孩子们对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣，课堂上喜欢积极表现自己，而且本课内容为正在做某事情的动作单词和故事学习，贴近孩子的生活实际，学生对于辅助动作学习知识兴趣很高，并能在教师创设的真实情境中运用所学知识。

教学目标：

读懂故事主要内容，借助插图理清故事主要情节并模仿人物对话。

询问或说明某人正在做某事。

3、

理解歌曲内容，跟随录音有节凑地演唱歌曲。

教学重难点：

重点：在插图的帮助下理解并正确朗读故事。
