Unit5 Seasons

ⅠTeaching aims: 1. Ss can talk about the four seasons(weather and activities) with these words: season, spring, warm, summer, hot, autumn, cool, winter, cold, fly kites, go boating, eat ice creams, go swimming, have picnics, go climbing ,make snowmen, go skating. 2. Ss can read and say the story time. 3. Ss can find different beauty in different seasons and enjoy our colourful life.

Lead in T: Do you know the song’s name? S1: Seasons’ song. T: Yes. And today we are going to learn Unit 5 Seasons 设计意图：进入本课学习，宣布本课学习主题。

Teach: Seasons

ea pronounce/I:/(Ask Ss to read it by train) T: How many seasons are there in a year? S2: Four. T: What are they? S2: They are spring, summer, autumn and winter.

2. Let’s learn T: OK. Now let’s talk about them together. T: Look! These pictures are about Unit4.Mike and Tim are drawing in the park..Look at the pictures now, What season is it? Guess. S3: Spring. T: How do you know? S3: We can see flowers. T: Yes. Flowers are colorful, Trees are green. And a boat on the lake. Maybe some one can go boating. T: Now look at this picture. Close your eyes and enjoy it, flowers, trees, breeze, How do you feel? Ss: It’s warm. Teach: warm

设计意图：从本册书本U4内容导入，以旧带新，学习单词warm,并对其拓展，结合现在情境，注重孩子们在实际生活中运用英语能力的培养。

And what do Mike and Tim do? S4: They draw pictures in the park. T: Mike and Tim draw pictures in the park, and what else can we do in the park? S5: We can fly kites and go boating. T: Yes .Look! My son and his friends fly kites in the park. Teach: fly kites (Choose several Ss to read) T: Many boats on the river. So we can go boating. Teach: boating go boating (ask Ss to read) Show go+V-ing: 表示去从事某种体育或娱乐活动。

意图：接下来学习去钓鱼这个短语做好准备。

T: show pictures and teach: go fishing go climbing have picnics 设计意图：出示上次春游活动中拍的一些照片，是关于孩子们自己的，熟悉亲切，孩子们很感兴趣并提醒孩子们在生活中做个有心人。
