Unit 6 Whose dress is this? Teaching aims: By the end of this lesson, let the students grasp the following aims: 1.

Read and understand the words: dress, gloves, trousers, cousin and whose. 2.

Read and understand the story. 3.

Understand the meaning of “too, so, cousin, whose and …’s”. 4.

Know the culture about “Fancy Dress Party”, and learn from Su Hai and Su Yang: Help each other. Teaching difficult points: 1.

Read and say : Whose… is this?/are these? 2.

Use “ too and so” to describe the things.

Teaching procedure: Step 1 Warm up Play a game. Brain storm Let Ss say the same kind of the words, e.g. red, cap, red cap Step 2Pre-reading 1.
