UNIT 4 LESSON 22 【教学目标】
知识目标:
1.词汇
1)掌握单词、词组9个: kitchen, homework, sofa, cook, help, watch TV, do one’s homework, in the kitchen, on the sofa. 2)认读理解单词、词组4个: plate, put, watch, dinner table. 2.句型
1)掌握的句型2个(句中画线部分可以进行替换练习)

I’m doing my homework. 2)认读理解的句子2个:
(1) Can you help me? (2) Put the plates on the dinner table, please. 3.本课对话的理解和朗读
4.本课歌谣: Daddy is watching TV on the sofa. 能力目标:能够听懂“正在做什么”的功能问句并能用它来描述正在进行的活动,在情境中理解现在进行时的基本句型和动词的用法,同时能在真实情景中用英语和他人就正在做的事进行交流,能正确书写本课的动词词组和现在进行时的基本句型。
【教学重难点】
1.感知现在进行时的用法。
2.请别人帮助时说: Can you help me? 3.词组和习惯用法较多,如: in the kitchen, watch TV, on the sofa.

【教学过程】
一.Lead-in 1.Introduce the teacher to the students and change greetings. 2.Ask students to look at a video clip and let them think a question: What are the monkeys doing? ─ They are jumping on the bed. 【设计意图】以上两个活动可以营造良好的学习英语的气氛,拉近师生的距离,同时活泼有趣的儿歌Five little monkeys可以将学生的兴趣立刻调动起来,为后面的教学埋下伏笔。
二.Presentation 1. Let students look at the PPT, "Who’s this? What is she doing?", encouraging them to answer: She is Cathy. She is doing her homework. 2.Free talk T: Are you doing your homework now? When do you do your homework? Where do you do your homework? Do you do your homework late or early? Students answer, encouraging them to do their homework early. 3.Point to Cathy’s mother in the PPT. T: Look, Where is Cathy’s mother? What is she doing? Encourage
students to answer: She is cooking in the kitchen. 4.Free talk T: Do you cook at home? Do you help your mother cook at home? What about your father? Does your father cook at home? Students answer. 5.Point to Cathy’s father in the PPT. T: Is Cathy’s father in the kitchen? What is he doing? Encourage students to answer: He is in the living room. He is sitting on the sofa. He is watching TV. 6. Play the PPT of the first part. Students listen and repeat. 【设计意图】学生通过观察、听音和模仿了解并学习和日常生活有关、表示动作的句型,并通过模仿掌握动词现在进行时态的用法。
7. Show a real plate to students, elicit the word “plate”. 8. Tell students that there are two plates in the classroom, let them help the teacher to find the plates. 9. T: (to the students who have found the plates) Can you help me put the plates on the teachers’ desk? Encourage students to do the action. 【设计意图】让学生在教室中找老师事先藏好的两个盘子,可以提高他们的积极性,同时,创设一种真实的语言环境,让学生能在真实的情景中学习,检查与培养学生听英语的能力,使他们养成用英语进行思维的好习惯,为进一步学习英语练就扎实的基本功。
10. Students look at the PPT, listen to the second part and think where Cathy’s mother wants her to put the plates.
11. Play the PPT again, students listen and repeat. 12. Students work in pairs, practicing the dialogue. 13. Choose some pairs to come to the blackboard, wear the headdresses of Cathy and her mother, act the dialogue out. 【设计意图】帮助学生借助插图理解动词现在进行时疑问功能句的含义,并通过听音模仿,以及表演等方式学习提问和回答的表达方式。
三.Practice 1. Teacher asks some students "What are you doing?”, students choose the word cards and answer" I’m …ing.”
2. Do the exercise on part 3: ask students to look at the PPT, let them read the sentences, then write Yes or No on the line. 【设计意图】帮助学生练习现在进行时的句型结构和单词内容。通过练习及时强化新的语言现象和语法知识。
四. Let’s say it 1. Students listen to a chant. 2. Play the PPT again, students listen and repeat. 3. Students look at the PPT, do part 4. First, ask students to look at the pictures, then, choose some students to read the phrases under each picture: in the basket, on the table, on the sofa. Then, ask them to draw lines, teacher checks. 【设计意图】巩固学生对方位介词的掌握和应用。
4. Students try to make a chant using the phrases in Part4. 【设计意图】帮助学生在说唱歌谣中复习、回忆、巩固本课的单词、句子。说唱活动是儿童学习英语的一种非常有效的方式。
五.Homework 1.Copy the following words: kitchen, homework, sofa, cook, help, watch TV, do one’s homework, in the kitchen, on the sofa. 2.Try to make more chants. 3.Listen to the tape and repeat after class. 【设计意图】通过书面作业,巩固学生所学到的英语知识和英语技能。
【教学反思】
基于小学英语“指导——自主学习”这一理念,我在课堂上激发学生主动参与,发挥主观能动性,使用实物、多媒体,营造了一个轻松有趣的学习氛围,促使学生积极主动地学习英语,并将所学的知识学以致用,将学习与生活紧密联系起来。在教学中我运用“全身反应教学法”和“整体语言教学法”吸引学生在自然有趣的环境中习得语言。使用小组活动,化“竞争”为“合作”,鼓励学生相互支持和优势互补,让学生在习得的过程中感受到学习的快乐。
