一、教学内容

辽师大版小学英语教材（三年级起点）四年级下册第五单元第一课时的内容。

二、教材分析

继上一单元了解和运用询问他人的基本情况后，本单位主要是询问及介绍他人的职业。通过两个小伙伴间的对话引出这一单元的核心语言。“What′s his job? He′s……”通过他们的一问一答，学生能学习到与询问职业相关的句子和有关职业的单词，并应用到实际中去。

三、学生分析

四年级的学生有了一定的英语语言基础，也初步形成了简单的用英语进行交流的能力，本课通过借助多媒体，由一个司机爸爸带我们到医院、学校等，让学生感受到各行各业的工作者，并积极参与讨论到他人的职业，从而激发学生用所学语言进行表达和交流热爱各行各业的情感。

四、教学目标

1.能听、说、读、写，并运用单词：teacher、driver、doctor、nurse、pupil。

2. 能听、说、读、写核心语言：What′his job?He′s a…并能在真实语境中得到运用。

3.能听懂会说Listen and say部分对话。

4.能在真实的语言情境中，积极运用所学语言进行表达和交流。了解更多的职业，并能尊重从事各行各业的工作者。

五、教学重难点

重点：掌握并正确运用What′s hid job? He′s a…对他人的职业进行询问及介绍。

难点：对He knows many…句子的理解。

六、学习策略

注重学生听、说、读、写能力培养以及团结合作意识的训练，采用任务型教学模式，通过启发式教学法，表演教学法和多媒体教学等，激发学生学习英语积极性，培养学生综合语言运用能力。

七、教学过程

Ⅰ.Warm up. 1.Greetings. T:Good morning,boys and girls. S:Good morning,Miss Xu. T：I＇m very happy to stand here with you. Are you happy? S:Yes. T:Before our new lesson,let′s have a chant,OK? S:OK.

【设计意图】：通过chant表演的形式谈论自己的父母（在实录35秒-1分8秒之间），既复习了旧知，进行了热身，又为本单元教学主题My father is great.做好铺垫。

Ⅱ.Presentation and practice.

1.Show the topic. T:Is your father great? S:Yes. T:We’ll learn the new lesson Unit 5 My father is great.(板书课题)

2.T:Dear pupils,I have a video.Let′s watch it and think about what′s the video about? S:job…

T:There are many kinds of jobs in the world. 【设计意图】：本环节选取了一段有关各种职业的微视频（在实录2分3秒-3分2秒之间），为了帮助学生整体感知职业单词的意义、声音、词形，顺利导入新课。在出现的职业单词中，既有本课将要学习的新单词，又有不需要进行教学的单词，使学生初步感受职业的多样性。

【设计意图】：通过flash课件

“司机爸爸带‘我们’去医院”（课件制作有新意，在实录5分57秒-6分40秒之间），引导学生进行doctor等语言操练，在此环节中，充分利用白板的书写、批注、聚光灯等交互功能，掌握新知、突出重点的同时，为下面学习新的语境埋下伏笔，形成一条清晰的脉络。

【设计意图】：此环节通过对比he，she的用法，（在实录8分38秒）引出形容词性物主代词的变化，使学生更好理解。

There are many kinds of jobs in the world.We respect people from all walks of life.When you grow up,you become a useful person to society. 【设计意图】：对本节课做总结，引导学生总结本课重难点的同时，教师出示了真实的职业相片，进行情感教育。

Ⅳ.Homework. Talk about your ideal job in English with your parents and make a copy of the newspaper by hand. T:Goodbye,boys and girls. S:Goodbye,Miss Xu. 【设计意图】：作业的设计力求创新，激发学生热爱各行各业的情感。
