第一课时（新授课）

教学目标

1．听懂，会说新单词the earth, land and river, the sun, stars, the moon ,land, Space Museum. 2．能够运用句型“Our earth looks like this in space”.“The earth is like a ball.”

4. 能够理解并掌握“look like……”. 5. 能够听懂、会说A 部分。

3．通过对课文的学习，让学生了解一些有关太空的知识，提高学习

英语的兴趣，激发学科学，爱科学，用科学的热情。

教学重、难点

重点：能够运用句型“Our earth looks like this in space”.“The earth is like a ball.”描述某事物看起来像什么，掌握新单词。

难点：理解并复述课文动词过去式的变化规则。

教学准备

PPT课件，单词卡片，教学光碟，电脑和背投。

教法、学法：

讲授，游戏，情境创设，小组讨论等。

教学过程

Step one Warning up 1．Have a greeting. 2．Sing a song together,OK? Step two Presentation and drill 1．打开课件，出示太空景色的图片。

T: I want to show you some beautiful and interesting pictures. There are so many stars in the sky. These stars make up space. 板书并教学单词space. (指着图片)T: What are in space? Ss: There are the sun, the moon, the earth …

….(帮助学生回答) T：Do you enjoy the views in space? I enjoy space very much. So I am interested in space. 板书并带读单词interested。

T：I am interested in music, too. What are you interested in? S: I’m interested in swimming/English/…（帮助学生回答）

板书句型What are you interested in? I’m interested in swimming/English/…带读。

2．PPT课件出示图片，教学单词land和space museum。

3. 出示课件太阳，月亮和星星，复习单词

T: What’s this? Ss: the sun/moon./stars. T: Look at the stars. What do you they look like? They look like a lion.(板书look like, 带读) 然后出示Space Museum的图片。教学词组Space Museum 3．游戏。说出单词首字母，学生快速说出该单词，看谁的反应快。

Step three Reading 1．A部分。让学生快速阅读课文，回答问题。

Who did Peter visit the space museum with? Did Peter enjoy the visit? What did Peter do the next day? 2．听录音，模仿正确的语音、语调，掌握新词难句的读音。

3．精读A部分，然后两人一组完成C部分的练习。

4．听C部分的录音，跟读。

Step four Consolidations 1．对学生的表现做出评价，给予肯定和鼓励，培养学生的英语表达能力。

2．家庭作业。听磁带，读课文，抄写新单词。

3．课后查找有关太空的资料。
