一、教学背景分析
(一)教材分析
本课时为外研社(三起)六年级下册第三模块第一单元。本单元主要讲大明、西蒙和西蒙的妈妈去公园野餐发生的事。本课的主要内容是用现在进行时来描述课文故事。现在进行时的语法知识并不难,并且课文的主要内容均用图片呈现,所以用现在进行时来复述课文对学生们来说难度不大。为了更好地完成课文学习,我在教授课文之前引导学生用现在进行时做一些热身训练,比如做动作,让学生猜以及其他一些有趣的游戏来练习巩固现在进行时的运用,为接下来的课文学习奠定基础。
(二)学生分析
本课时授课对象为六年级学生,六年级的学生已经积累了一定的词汇量并学习了小学阶段所学的基本语法同时具备一定的听、说、读、写能力。所以这节课的教学内容对于他们来说不难掌握。现在进行时的语法结构虽简单,但学生运用起来经常出现一些小毛病。比如系词的使用及动词的词形变化等等。针对这种情况,教师需要设计多项授课环节,可以游戏或比赛的形式激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生达到熟练掌握的目的。本课的学习使学生进一步巩固和熟练运用现在进行时,能够在实际生活中熟练运用现在进行时。
二、教学目标
(一)知识与技能
1、学生能理解并运用重点词汇:shine, cry, everyone, fly away, just, blow. 2、学生能朗读课文并能根据图片复述课文。
3、学生能按照要求完成语句书写等。
4、学生能运用已学语言描述图片或照片中的情景。
(二)情感与态度
激发学生学习兴趣,乐于参与小组活动,积极与他人合作完成学习任务,敢于开口,表达中不怕出错,能体会英语学习的乐趣。
三、教学重难点
教学重点

课文中重点词组及句型:had a picnic in the park, write to sb., look at these photos, look hungry, had a very interesting day on Saturday, sing in the tree, start to do sth., fly away 2、
能熟练朗读课文并根据图片复述课文。
教学难点
1、
掌握并能熟练运用现在进行时。
2、
能用现在进行时描述图片或讲述故事。

五、教学流程
Step 1: Greetings T: Hello, boys and girls. S: Hello, Miss Xie. T: How are you? S: I’m fine. Thank you and how are you? T: I’m fine, too. What day is it today? S: It’s Friday (师板书)
T: What’s the weather like today? S:It’s sunny.(师让生拼写sunny,师板书)
(每日上课之前,师生之间都有互动。简单对话可使学生巩固所学单词和句型。)
Step 2 Leading and presentation 1、
T: Today is sunny. Also, we can say “The sun is shining.”
(引出课题)
T: Show a picture of the shining sun, teach the students the new word”shine—shining”. (利用图片教授单词,使学生一目了然并印象深刻。)
T: Today we are going to learn M3U1 The sun is shining. 2、
Play Game 1 The teacher does some actions, and ask “what am I doing?”
The students answer:“ You’re……”Then the teacher asks some students to come to the front and do the actions, get
others to guess what they are doing. 3、
Play Game 2 Present some pictures on the screen, then cover most part of them, then ask “What is he/it doing? or “What are they doing?” Get students to guess. The ones who get right answers will get marks. (这两个游戏的设计极大地调动了学生学习兴趣,在轻松愉快的氛围中完成现在进行时的训练,巩固所学重点。)
Step 3 Text learning 1、
Show the pictures of Part1 of the text. T: Now let’s listen “what happened?”
The teacher plays the cartoon, then ask and answer the questions. What’s the bird doing? What’s the dog doing? Why is the dog crying? (Present a picture of a baby crying to teach the word “cry”.) After answering the questions, get students to repeat after the tape. 2、
Text presentation Present the letter from Daming to Lingling and ask two questions: What is Daming sending to Lingling?
What does Daming miss? Play the letter part of the text,then get the students to answer the two questions. Listen to it again and finish Exercise 1 on the workbook. Check the answers then repeat after the tape. Present three photos of the text with three questions: What are the birds doing in Photo1? What’s happening in Photo2? What are the ducks doing in Photo3? Get the students to watch the cartoon then answer these questions.(带着问题听课文便于学生抓住重点,为后面的复述课文打下基础。)

Retell the story. After reading the text for some minutes, present the three photos then ask the students to retell the text according to these photos.(逐个图片复述,让学生不感到那样困难,轻松掌握所学重难点。)

Consolidation Discuss the pictures of Part4 in groups. Talk about these pictures with the present continuous tense.(小组合作讨论可使学生之间工作学习,相互纠错,达到有效学习的目的。)
After discussing, call some groups to speak out their
sentences. Get them to write the sentences down on their book. The teacher asks some students to the front and others correct their answers. Step 5 Extension Show two pictures to the students. Get them to talk about the pictures in groups. Get them to say like this: In Picture1, the sun is…. The bird is… The children are…
(活动的设计是拓展训练,通过课文学习,学生掌握了本课重点现在进行时的用法。在学完课文及巩固训练之后,进行拓展训练,有利于培养学生的综合语言运用能力。)
六、教学反思:
本课时的教学内容为课文中的重点短语、句型及现在进行时的用法。现在进行时的语法结构虽不是很难,但学生在运用过程中经常出现小毛病,比如系词的单复数形式不注意,动词后不接ing形式等等。要想解决这些问题,就需要教师精心设计教学环节,环环相扣,循序渐进,先以激发学生的学习兴趣及欲望入手,用游戏调动学生的学习热情,然后通过一步步的教学环节引导学生逐个完成教学任务,在完成任务的过程中,不断巩固、吸收所学新知及现在进行时的重要知识点,最后对所学知识进行拓展,培养学生的综合语言运用能力。本节课的最大亮点是充分利用图片,让学生结合图片学会描述图片里的人和物,从而达到语言学习的目的,能够在实际生活中操练所学语言,
达到真正掌握所学知识点的目的。
