Part A 教学目标
◆语言知识目标
1.学习词汇:meter,fast,try,Sports Day,long jump,high jump等。
2.学习句型:We are going to have a Sports Day.
Who will…? I will.
3.功能:学习体育活动的表达。
◆语言技能目标
1.能认读和正确书写有关运动项目的词汇。
2.能表达自己打算在运动会上参加哪些运动项目。
3.能用所学语言询问他人所擅长的运动项目并制订运动会报名表。
◆情感态度
运用谚语: Life lies in movement. Doing sports is good for our health.告诉学生生命在于运动,增强学生的健身意识。
教学重点:

学习并运用词汇及词组:Sports Day, meter, 100 meters ,run 100 meters, fast , try , do long jump, do high jump等。

学习并运用句子: Who will …? 来询问对方要参加什么运动项目,并学会用I will. 来做出回答。
教具准备
1.单词卡片:
(1)新词meter,fast,try,meter等卡片。
(2)词组Sports Day,play basketball,play football,ride a bike,do high jump, do long jump等卡片。
2.迪士尼乐园米奇、米妮等卡通头像和Miss Gao、Peter 、Julia、Sally的图片。
3.多媒体课件。
教学过程
一、Pre-reading 1.Greetings.
2.Watch a vedio: 迪士尼神奇英语-第十集-高飞的运动
T: Hello,boys and girls.Do you like cartoon? S: Yes. T: Now, let’s enjoy . T: OK. Goofy can run , Goofy can jump. Goofy can ride a bike. He can do other sports, too. Look at here, he can…
S: He can play basketball/play football/swim/skate/ride a bike. T: Wow, Goofy can do so many sports. Do you like sports? S: Yes. T: How to spell it? S: s-p—o-r-t-s. T: Very good. Follow me sports, sports. S: Sports, sports . T:Today we are going to learn Unit5 Sports Day .Part A. Read after me: Sports Day.(板书课题)Let’s spell it .Show me your finger.Please pay attention to big letter S and D.(this line one by one )
T: We are going to have a Sports Day.(板书并操练)
T: I divide you into four groups.----basketball group /football group/swimming group/running group. Come on. Let’s PK. 二、While -reading T: Please open your book, turn to page 36.Look, who are they? Who can try? S:I can try. (引导学生说) Miss Gao. Julia , Yang Ming, Peter, Sally. T: Yes, they are also going to have a Sports Day. I have a question for you: What kinds of sports will they do? Now watch the video and underline the answers. 1.教学单词meter和词组run 100 meters
(1)出示单词卡片meter,分音节拼读教学后板书。教师出示卷尺并告诉学生:“This is one meter.”
T: Look, this is a ruler. It’s one meter. Read after me: meter(小组接龙操练) , Look at the screen, how about this one? S: Five meters. (2)教师出示一百米跑图片,教学词组run 100 meters。引导学生说出run 5 meters,run 100 meters,run 200 meters等词组。注意提醒学生这些meter后需加s表示复数。
2.教学do long jump / do high jump
(1)教师提问:What else sports? (指着PPT上的问题) 教师根据学生的回答,教学long jump。
教师和学生用简单的手势操练( long long long long jump) 教学high jump,教师和学生用简单的手势操练( high high high high jump)
PPT显示动图,教学do long jump, do high jump 并用手势进行操练。( do do do long jump, do do do high jump) (2)let’s play a game---青蛙跳伞,让学生迅速说出相应的单词或词组。
3.教学句型Who will…? I will.
(1)教师提问学生Who will run 100 meters? 并操练句子
展示另外两个问句: Who will do high jump? Who will do long jump? T: Now listen again and answer my questions. (观看动画) T: Who will run 100 meters? S: Peter. (并贴上头像) T: Peter says …
S: I will. T:Oh, Peter will run 100 meters .Why? S: 因为他跑得很快。
T:Yes, he can run fast. ( 教师做出跑得快的动作,并引导学生一边说 run fast 一边做动作) T: Who will do long jump? S: Julia.(并贴上图片)
T: Yes, Julia says…
S: Julia says I will try. T: Who will do high jump? S: Yang Ming. (并贴上图片)
T: Good, Yang Ming Says …
S: Yang Ming says I will. T: Now you two groups ask, and you two groups answer. S: Who will …? I will. T: Now change. S: Who will …? I will. 4.教师根据板书将课文重点句复述一遍后提问:How about Sally? What will Sally do on Sports Day? 学生自读课文后引导学生回答Sally will take photos for her class. 5. Let’s chant 100 meters, 100 meters Who will run 100 meters? I will, I will.
