重点：学习掌握新单词及词组：Easter, color, brown, hide，make some Easter eggs, color the eggs, hide the eggs, be going to. 难点：用本节课所学的单词，词组以及句型跟搭档进行对话，正确使用be going to 表达将要做的事情。

二、教具准备

三、教学过程

Step 1 Warming up 1.

Greet to each other. 2.

Talk about our country’s festival, and ask students “

what’s your favorite festival?”

Present the title (1)

Watch a video about Easter and explain the different ways of people celebrating it around the world. (2)

Summary the origin of Easter: Jesus crucified upon a cross, the third day Easter holiday was born. Easter Festival with religious origins to countries in Europe and the United States, Easter is a major holiday after Christmas.

Lead in the title and write it on the blackboard: Unit 3 Easter Eggs

Teach the words: Easter, Easter eggs, Easter cards, and Easter presents and so on. 【设计意图】通过复习中国的传统节假日，询问学生最喜欢的节假日的形式，调动学生学习英语的注意力。通过视频讲解和图片呈现、动静结合的方式，介绍西方国家如何度过复活节，吸引学生学习本节英语课的兴趣。

Step 2 Presentation (一)

Get the information of the things which should be done before Easter. 1.

Ask students to read the text carefully. 2.

Ask students to watch the video and find the things which Sally’s mother is going to do and put the pictures in the right order. 3.

Check the answer and present three phrases: make some Easter eggs, color the eggs and hide the eggs. 【设计意图】通过让学生自行阅读课文与观看课文视频，排列出正确的制作复活节彩蛋步骤的形式，使学生对文章的大致内容有一个全面的了解，有助于他们积

极动脑，更好地投入到本节课的学习中来，真正发挥学习过程中的主体地位的作用。

(二)

Teach three key phrases; 1.

Teach the phrase: make some Easter eggs. Ask students to read the phrase and present other phrases of make, e.g. make dumplings, make the paper flowers. 【设计意图】通过复习包饺子，制作纸花的词组，让学生更好地感知make some Easter eggs 的含义，有助于学生理解掌握。

2.

Teach the phrase: color the eggs; (1)

Review the words of colors and teach the new meaning of color（上颜色）and the new word “brown” by using the sentences: What color is it?

Play a game: ask students to color the paper eggs in groups and show them with us. 【设计意图】通过guessing game 复习颜色词，也引出color的另外一个意思，以及新单词brown。在复习旧知识的同时，也学习掌握新的知识点，过渡自然，学生更容易接受。通过游戏，给鸡蛋上颜色，既锻炼了学生的动手能力，也让学生更好地掌握color the eggs 这个词组。

Teach the phrase: hide the eggs. (1)

Lead in the new word “hide” by reviewing the word “ride”; (2)

Play a game: Listen carefully and do as the teacher says Please hide your English book in the desk. Please hide your pencil-box in your school-bag. Please hide your eraser in your pencil-box. (3) Teach the phrase: hide the eggs. 【设计意图】通过ride引出新单词hide，学生更容易掌握它的发音，新旧知识相结合，学以致用。通过游戏，老师发出指令，学生做出相对应的动作，使学生更好地掌握了hide的含义，也为后面的hide the eggs的教学打下了很好的基础。

（三）Teach how to use the key phrase” be going to do”

1. Ask students to watch the video again and answer the question:

“What are you going to do, mom?”

“I am going to ……”

2. Check the answer and ask students to read after the tape. 3. Explain how to use the phrase “be going to do”. 【设计意图】回归课文部分，通过观看课文让学生回答问题，引出另一个重要的知识点be going to do的句型。通过跟读，讲解的形式，让学生更好地掌握be going to do的用法。

Step 3 Extension 1. Suppose some one’s birthday is coming, many students are invited. Four students a group to discuss and make a dialogue like this: What are you going to do?

I am going to ……

2. Ask some groups to share their dialogues with us. 【设计意图】通过设置具体的情景，让学生通过小组讨论的形式做对话，用上所学的知识点进行团队合作，不仅使学生能够将所学的知识学以致用，也进一步提高了学生团队合作的意识与能力。

Step 4 Summary 1. Ask one student to summary what we have learnt today. 2. Make some necessary supplement. 【设计意图】让学生对本节课所学的内容进行总结，有利于激发学生的思考，更好地提高学生的总结能力，发挥学生的主体地位。教师作必要的补充，发挥了教师的指导作用。

Step 5 Homework 1. Listen to the tape, and read after it. 2. Finish the students’ activity book. 3. Make an Easter egg and show it to us next lesson. 【设计意图】作业的设置，有利于大部分学生巩固并掌握本节课的重难点。制作彩蛋，体现了作业的开放性，让学生感知复活节的内涵，提高跨文化意识。
