21 Exercise 教学设计
一.教学目标
知识目标:学生能够识别,理解和使用单词minute, hour, exercise 和句型What is exercise? What do you do for exercise? 能力目标:
学生能够用英语谈论运动
情感目标:培养学生热爱运动的习惯。
二.教学重难点
对“What time is exercise”
“What do you do for exercise?”
“How many minutes do you ...?”
的熟悉运用。
三.教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up Let’s chant!
Step2: Present and practice (1)
The sentence pattern:
What is exercise? Running/Walking/Riding a bike/Playing sports is exercise.
4 dynamic pictures of exercise and do the actions
The game of “Do with me” in pairs to practice the sentence pattern. (2)
The sentence pattern:
What do you do for exercise?
I walk for exercise.
Ask and answer
Song which is adapted from “This is the way we walk to school. Early in the morning!”
the students will learn the sentence pattern in the happy song. (3)
The sentence pattern:
How many minutes do you walk?
About 15 minutes.
Finger guessing game to practice the dialogue. (4)
An interview with the “Wooden children game”
Each group has 4 students. One of them is the interviewer. The rest will do the actions of exercise randomly. When the interviewer say “Hello”, the rest must keep their actions without moving. Then the interviewer interviews the students one by one with the sentence pattern :What do you do for exercise? How many minutes do you walk? The rest can move again only they answer the questions. The groups which perform well can show the game in the front. And the teacher will lead the students to estimate the exercise with the sentence pattern “What do you think of his/her exercise?”
Step3: Read and answer Step4: Conclusion
The students need about an hour of exercise every day and exercise can make the body strong and healthy.
Step5: Homework
In order to develop the habit of exercise, I design to draw pictures of exercise and make records every day. 四:Homework Draw pictures and make records every day.
