Aims on emotion. Let the students love the animals and protect them. Key point and difficult point: 1.

The key point of this lesson is to master the new words and the key sentences. a baby panda, black and white, take good care of, send back, say goodbye to sb. Go back into the forest.

The difficult point is let the students can understand the text and can answer the questions.

1. Show a riddle, let the students guess Which animals is it?

Drill and Consolidation

1. Show the topic and write it on the blackboard.

2. T: What’s wrong with the baby panda?

Let students listen to the tape with the question, then answer it.

3. Let Ss find out the phrase that they can’t understand. The teacher explains the difficult points. Make some sentences use the difficult points. 4. Read the text together.

5. Let Ss write the chinese on their books.

6. Answer the questions:

1).What’s in the forest of

Wolong , Sichuan ? 2). Where is the village? 3). Where are the children? 4). What is behind the house? 5). Who takes good care of the baby panda ? 6). Is the baby panda much better now? 7). Where is the baby panda at last?

7. Choose some Ss retell the text.

Show some pictures about the wild animals, and tell Ss the animals is our friends, we should love them and protect them.

教学反思：

本课是讲了一个发生在四川卧龙的大山里的关于一只受伤的熊猫，得到孩子们的救治，最后回归大自然的故事。反思本课在讲解过程中，环节设计由谜语导入，深深抓住了学生的注意力，然后重难点在老师的解释中层层展开，有利于学生深刻地理解课文，在读课文的时候又配上背景音乐，大大提高了学生对课文关于爱心的理解，特别是最后出示的一些关于野生动物的精美图片，很强的激发了学生热爱动物、保护动物的决心。美中不足的是最后应该再设计一个环节，让学生把这个故事加上自己的理解演出来，把叙述变成对话，给学生一个发挥的平台，这样更能增强学生对英语的学习兴趣。
