教学目标:

1 使学生能够听、说、读、写1-3单元的单词hospital, cinema, bookstore, turn left, turn right 等。

2 使学生能够用be going to do 句型交流周末计划。

3 使学生能在情境中运用句型How can we get to the restaurant? 问路并描述到某地的路线。教学重点:复习主要句型:How can we get to the restaurant? be going to do句型。

教具:单词卡片和课件。

教学步骤:

I Warm up

Weekend plan.

It is Saturday tomorrow. It is a weekend. It is my birthday, too. So I’m going to have a birthday party at home.What are you going to do tomorrow?

Pair work: talk about your weekend.

II Presentation

1.It’s Sunday now. Where are they going?

Wu Yifan and Robin are on the way to the supermarket.

Look. What colour is it? Can we go at a red light?

What about the green light? And the Yellow light?

2. Look, the boy is crying.

Wu Yifan: Hey, little boy.…

Little boy:

同桌猜测人物语言,相互交流想法,再指名说一说。

揭示故事:

Wu Yifan: Hey, little boy. Don’t go at a red light.

Little boy: I can’t find my mother.

Wu Yifan: Let me help you.

Little boy: Thank you.

Robin: I can help you, too.

2.Review the places.

Wu Yifan: Let’s look at the map.

Robin:OK!

教师把地图中的地点图片贴在黑板上,边贴边说:Look, in our city, there is a park, a post office, a cinema,…

Where are they? They are near the museum.

Wu Yifan:Where is your mother?

Wu Yifan: Why?

Little boy: Because she is hungry.

Little boy: How can we get to the restaurant?

Wu Yifan: First, go straight. Then turn left at the bookstore.

T: Oh, mom is not here.

T: Where is she? Let’s guess and make a short dialogue. .

同桌俩进行角色扮演,猜测妈妈在哪里,并说出理由。然后老师带着大家一起说路径。

T: The restaurant is near. We can go on foot. But the hospital/supermarket is far. How can we get there? ( There is no bus here. We can go by taxi.)

4. T: So they go to the restaurant, the …and the…But they can’t find his mother. They’re tired. Who can help them? Where can they go?

Ah! Police station.

Read: police station.

They can go to the police station and ask the policeman.

Policeman: Can I help you?

Wu Yifan: Yes, please. This boy can’t find his mother.

Policeman: OK. I see. Hi, little boy.What’s your name?

Little boy: My name is Zhang Ming.

T: Now you’re the policeman. You can ask some questions about the boy and his mother.

5. The policeman is calling mother.

Show the map: This is Mother. She has big eyes. She is beautiful.Where is mother? How can she get to the police station? (Say together.)

Open the books and fill in the blanks.

Check the answer.

Answer the questions:

(1) How can the mother get to the police station? By bus?

(2) I circle 2words: on foot, by bus. Can you tell me some words like this? Let’s read the passage together.

6.Part 2 in the book.

Now Mother is in the police station.

Are you Mrs Zhang?

Yes, I am.
