Look at the pictures and guess: What are they talking

about?

II. Presentation:

1. Check the preview. PPT shows some pictures and words. Learn the new words and phrases. Then practice reading them. 2.

PPT shows the pictures of the story and ask:

Look at the pictures, who are they in the picture? What are they talking about? Guess.

Watch the cartoons and answer. 3.

Show some questions on the screen. Read and know the

meaning. (1). Is next week a holiday? (2). Who is Jenny going to have a picnic with ? (3). What is Gogo going to do during the vacation? (4). What is he going to do there?

Work in groups and find out the right answer.

Check the answers. 4.

Look at the screen, then listen and get the students to

repeat the story. III. Practice. 1. Listen again and repeat. Then read the story in different ways. 2. Language use:
