Unit Two Colors

(第二课时)

一．

学生分析

三年级的学生表现欲强,对各种活动都乐于参与，特别热衷竞赛性质的活动。在学习本课之前，他们已能熟练运用句型：

“What color is this? ”及掌握了部分颜色的英文单词。通过经常性的合作学习，学生已具备较强的小组协作能力。

二．教材分析

本课是开心学英语第二册教材第二单元第二课时的内容。在第一课时已教学“What color is this? ”的基础上，将继续丰富学生颜色方面的词汇，“pink,orange,purple,brown ”四种颜色中，“brown ”的发音对学生而言稍微有点难度，在教学中应重点练习。句式方面，将学习讨论颜色时一般疑问句的表达，即“Is it red/blue/yellow…?

” 三．教学目标

1．知识目标：

（1）掌握以下单词：purple orange pink brown （2）能熟练运用句型进行回答：Is it red/blue/ yellow…? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.

2．

情感目标：

1. 培养学生协作学习、积极思考、勇于创新、勇于表现的精神。

2. 通过配色知识的渗透，提升学生的审美能力。

3．能力目标：

能流利地用英文描述各种事物的颜色。

四．教学重点、难点

1．教学重点：学习单词“pink, orange, purple, brown”及句型

“Is it red/blue/yellow…?”

2.教学难点：

1）掌握单词“brown”的正确发音

2）能用

“It’s …”流利地描述身边物品的颜色。

避免与句型“It’s a …”混淆。

五．教学过程

Step One Warm-up 1.

Talk about the colors of the flowers on the blackboard. 2.

Guess the color of spring /summer/fall/. (以不同颜色的花朵做为奖励，这一评价方式与主题密切相关，能在不知不觉中反复强化所学词汇。让孩子选择美丽的花朵装饰各自的花瓶，为孩子创造了使用目标语言的机会，也赋予了孩子自主选择权) Step Two Elicit the new words “pink/purple”by introducing two girls to the kids. “Miss Pink” and “Miss Purple”

（生活中对某种颜色有偏好的人很常见，贴近学生生活实际的东西，加上适当的夸张，这极容易引发学生的兴趣。“Miss Pink”

和“Miss Purple”两位人物的引入使学生对新词印象格外深刻。）

Step Three Help Miss Pink and Miss Purple! Show the colors of pink and purple by mixing the colors. Then Elicit “orange/brown”in the same way.

(用混色法帮助

“Miss Pink”和“Miss Purple”变出粉色及紫色后，再用同样方式自然引出新词“orange,brown ”。颜色变化的瞬间，它的视觉冲击力会给学生以震撼，记住了该种颜色的发音，也增进了对色彩知识的了解。) Step Four Consolidation 1.

Listen and shout! Divide the kids into four groups. “Orange Group/ Purple Group /Brown Group / Pink Group”When the

teacher call their names, they should stand up and shout! 2.

A Finding Game The teacher hold many cards which have different colors. Ask the kids to stand up when they see the color we look for .First say it in a low voice, when we see it , the kids should say it loud and stand up. （

“brown”的发音是一个难点，机械性的反复练习容易使学生厌倦。但游戏能让学生练得开心，练得积极主动。）

Step Five 1. Elicit the pattern: “

Is it red/blue/yellow…? Yes, it is./No, it isn’t.”by talking about the colors 2. Consolidation. 1) Classify something according to their colors. kiwi fruit , orange, onion, bear, eggplant, carrot 2) Guess their classmates’

favorite color by asking “Is it red/blue…?”

3)Talk about the color of the lifebuoy. (有意识地制造信息差，迫使参与者通过交际方式，去完成信息交换的任务，使课堂交际更具有自然交际状态下的变化多端与不可预测，使交际语言更加鲜活，学生更乐于参与.) Step Six Extension : Some colors are friends. Some are not. Put the words which have different colors on a piece of blue paper. Let them discuss “Are they friends or not?”

(通过对颜色搭配的讨论及直观的呈现，引发学生对色彩搭配现象的关注，既复习颜色词汇又兼顾了审美能力的培养。) Step Seven

1.Show the kids “Miss Pink”and “Miss Purple”how to describe their things. Then ask the

pupils to describe the things they see. e.g: It’s a kite. It’s green. It’s an apple. It’s red. It’s a desk. It’s brown.

2.Ask the kids to describe the things around them. (学生容易把“It’s a…

”与“ It’s… ”的句型混淆，通过图片创造大量说、练的机会，让语言点在不知不觉中内化。) Step Eight Homework Draw 6 objects and describe them. e.g It’s a pencil. It’s red. 板书设计：
