教学目标:1.学生通过flash动画,自然拼读法,思维导图等学习方式能听,说,读,理解故事内容。
2.学生能听,说,读,理解生词madam, neck,need,
enough idea, each ,altogether. 3.学生能听,说,读,理解并运用句型I’m cold, I need a scarf. \It’s (not) long enough.\ Forty yuan each.\ That’s 200 yuan altogether.\It’s not always good to have a long neck. 4.学生能进行小组合作表演故事。
5.学生体会故事阅读的乐趣,学会文明购物,并懂得任何事物都有两面性。
学情:五年级下册,学生对于学习故事的兴趣较浓。本课处于第五单元Lesson 3 的位置,学生在已经掌握了How much is ┈.
It’s ┈ yuan .的基础上对知识的综合运用和拓展。
教学重难点:1.学生能听,说,读,理解生词
neck,need ,enough ,each . 2.学生能听,说,读,理解并运用句型I need a scarf. \It’s (not) long enough.\ Forty yuan each.\ That’s 200 yuan altogether.\It’s not always good to have a long neck.
教学策略
:1.通过观看flash 动画,学生说唱来复习已学知识How much is ┈.
It’s ┈ yuan .从而调动五官,增强趣味性,激起学生的学习热情。
2.通过创设和长颈鹿一起购物的语境,结合自然拼读法,TPR教学法,阅读策略,思维导图等形式激发学生联想与创意,培养学生思维习惯。
3.利用小组合作学习让学生共同完成思维导图以及大胆表演故事。
4.利用贴近故事内容的彩色围巾小贴画来评价和鼓励学生自主学习和合作学习。
课堂风貌设计:1.用英语思维并用英语做事的课堂:以思维导图的方式提问,小组合作和总结故事内容,其间插入自然拼读法学习生单词,充分调动学生学习故事的兴趣,培养学生用英语思维的习惯。
2.学生自主学习,合作学习的课堂:通过创设购物的情境进行故事教学,让学生带着问题阅读故事,粘贴思维导图,充分体现了自主性。
3.人文素养的课堂:通过学习长颈鹿有长脖子不总是好的,告诉学生任何事物都有两面性。
教学设计:
Step 1. Warming-up.
①Lead-in .
T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to see you again. First, let’s chant together.
Well done, well done .Today, I bring you a new friend. This is Miss Giraffe. (教师幻灯片录音) G:Hello, I’m Miss Giraffe. Look, I have a long neck. T:(教师躲在长脖子后说:哈哈,I have a long neck) S: Good, Good, very good. (设计意图:此处的作用是为本故事最后引出It’s not always good to have a long neck.做铺垫。) ②T : Miss Giraffe has a long neck. What does she want? Let’s ask.
T: (教师领着学生问Giraffe,Giraffe,what do you want ?I want a scarf. Let’s go shopping.) Class, do you want to go shopping ? OK, let’s go. Let’s enjoy the story.
【设计意图】让学生一起购物,为故事教学创设语境. Step 2. Presentation+Step 3 Practice ⑴Pre-reading. T: Let’s listen.
设计意图:学生借助图片听整个故事,让学生整体感知故事,为后面学习故事做铺垫。
T: Do you like this story ?OK, Let’s think, Whose shop is it?(出示幻灯片)
T: Yes, that’s right. One sticker for you. Mr. Bear has this shop. How about the baby bear? Maybe, the baby bear is a helper.(引出Bear 和Baby
Bear,并把图片板书在黑板上) T: OK, now, Let’s enjoy the story one by one. Three questions for you. Are you clear? Let’s begin.
⑵While-reading. ①read picture 1,2,3.(教师带读) (幻灯片播放picture 1,学生听音跟读) T: (幻灯片出示need ,教师用自然拼读法教会学生说need. (接着教师用边说边做动作的方式教学生说I’m cold, I need a scarf.)OK,
with your action, just like me. I’m cold, I need a scarf.)this boy, you try. S1: I’m cold, I need a scarf. (with actions.)(做得好的学生奖励围巾stickers) T: OK, let’s go on.( 教师播放picture 2,教师拿出一根紫色围巾做示范,边给道具长颈鹿试穿围巾,边说Oh, It’s too short.)
T: You can answer my questions now.(老师出示幻灯片three questions) who can have a try?(抽学生答问题,奖励贴画)
②picture 4,5 (教师带读,学生用key words 填空) T: What’s happen to the Giraffe next? Let’s listen. (播放picture 4) T: I have an idea. Pass me a ┈(引导学生听音填空) T: Now, how about the yellow scarf and the pink scarf? Let’s go. (幻灯片播放picture 5) (操练enough---- long enough/not long enough----It’s long enough/

T: Now, let’s play a game
of irony. If I say “It’s long enough.” You say “It’s not long enough.” Are you clear? (操练四次,由快到慢)
T: Now, practice in the groups. (学生小组操练) T: Which group wants to have a try? Yes, group 3.you are brave. ③
read picture 6,7,8.(学生小组合作,自主阅读。)
T: OK, Class. Open your book and turn to page 60.It’s your time to read the story by yourselves. Are you clear?
T: There is a mind map of this story. Let’s see, Miss Giraffe needs a scarf.
The purple one is too short.教师此处边播放,边说。(教师出示思维导图的幻灯片,示范填写purple ,too short两个词) 【设计意图】教师示范填写故事的思维导图,为接下来的学生小组合作完成任务单做准备。
T:Here are some tips for you.(教师给学生20秒默读tips)
(学生小组合作完成思维导图) T: OK. Time is up .which group wants to show your map .Good, group leader, come here.(每一组选两名同学上台展示) T: Yeah, You are so smart. Now, let’s listen and follow. Clear? S : Yes. T :(教师播放picture 6,listen and follow.)
T :(教师播放picture 7,采用小老师带读的方式)Who wants to be the little teacher ? You try. Follow her ,Nice girl, Thank you for your
help. Let’s see how much is the long scarf.
【设计意图】前几幅图的学习中,学生已经基本掌握生词,此处用小老师带读,体现了学生才是课堂的主人。
T: (教师播放picture 8,自然拼读法教each,用高低音操练句型Forty yuan each.)接着播放So that’s 200 yuan altogether,跟读一遍,教200 元。接着进入chant 环节。
T: boys you are A, Girls you are B, I’m C . Are you ready ,go. T: 教师播放picture 8(播放最后一句It’s not always good to have a long neck.)表情法教句型(加两个动作)。
T :Now, You(G1,G2,G3) are Miss Giraffe. You(G4,G5,G6) are Mr. Bear. I’m the baby bear, clear? (接着分角色朗读全文句子。) 【设计意图】利用师生示范,表演对话,为接下来的故事表演做铺垫。
Step 4 Consolidation. Post-reading ①Act the story out in the groups. T : now , practice the story in your groups. some tips for you .(教师给20 秒时间给学生看一看小提示) ready ?Ok, go . ②
Show time. T: Time is up .show time.(根据时间适当抽几组同学展示) Step 5 Extension ①T: Give a tittle for the story. Who can have a try? This girl, you please.(抽几个同学回答)
T : Miss Liu will give you some tittles. Let’s see. A long scarf ;a colorful scarf/an expensive scarf. ②T: In this story, Miss Giraffe says “It’s not always good to have a long neck”.
T: So we can say “every coin has two sides , right ?”
Step 6 Assignments. T: Now ,let’s see which group is the winner ?GL ,come here, and put the stickers here.Wow,group3,you have so many stickers. you are the winner today . Congratulations! Good, good ,very good. Step 7 Homework. T: now, here is your homework. clear? Step 8 blackboard design.(板书设计)
