一、教材分析

本课时是人民教育出版社PEP小学五年英语下册第二单元部分。围绕话题My favourite season引出的一篇阅读。本单元通过对四季的学习，学生们会了解和掌握不同季节的特点及在每个季节该做的事。并能运用Which season do you like best? I like…Because…等功能句型进行交流和表达个人的喜好和情感。

二、学情分析

五年级学生已有一定语言输入和输出的能力。但小学生的形象思维在其认识过程中占主导地位，学习一般靠直觉和体验，不善于把握语言规律，以直观的形象思维为主，对语言记忆以机械记忆占大多数。所以，教学中我努力做到在帮助学生巩固旧知识的同时，力求创设良好的英语环境，以灵活新颖的教学形式，调动学生的积极性，使学生主动参与英语知识的学习、操练与交际活动，注重培养学生语言交际能力和思维发展能力。

三、教学目标设计

1. To master four-skill words: spring summer autumn winter because ect. 2 .To listen and understand: Read and write. Students can use the key structures: Which season do you like best? I like…

Because….. 3.掌握阅读策略，大胆尝试写作。培养热爱生活的态度和情感价值观。

四、教学重难点（确定依据）

重点：能听懂、读懂并内化Read and write的内容，并能简单介绍自己喜欢的季节及原因。

难点：能学以致用，掌握阅读技巧，大胆尝试写作。

五、教学方法

运用启发式教学，通过听、默读、分段读、小组读、跟读、分角色读、齐读等方式，感知课文，理解课文，解决问题，掌握阅读技巧，努力营造宽松和谐的教学氛围,让教师与学生平等对话,课堂上激发学生主动参与,积极探究,合作交流。
