Lesson 22 In the Restaurant Part One: Analysis of the Teaching Materials（教材分析）

(一) Lesson type

( A new Lesson)

(二) Status and function (本课在教学中的地位).

This is a speaking lesson. The lesson is focused on having meals. It is helpful for the Ss to learn how to order. (三)

Teaching aims (教学目标) 1、Knowledge objects (认知目标).

A) Enable the Ss to remember the words :order fourteen eleven dumping something problem menu

B) Get the Ss to be familiar with some special questions: What would you like? Would you like some---? Yes, please. I like ---.

Are you ready to order? C) Help Ss to know more about knowledge of restaurant.

2、Ability objects (智能目标). A) To improve the Ss’ oral-speaking abilities. B) To improve the Ss’ awareness and ability of cross-culture. C) To cultivate their ability to discover, analyze and solve problems.

3、Moral objects (德育目标). Arouse their pride of Chinese food culture

and the interest in learning English; (四) Teaching Important Points (教学重点)

1) Master the words and phrases.

2) Talk about likes and dislike (五) Teaching Difficult Points（教学难点）

How to

use the important phrase and make dialogue by students. Part Two：Teaching methods （教法）

1. Multi-media teaching.

It can help the students be interested in the lesson and learn the lesson happily and easily.

3. “Task-based” teaching method.

“Task-based” language teaching has been one of the most important foreign teaching approaches during these years. The New English Curriculum requires teachers to use it .It’s an effective and advanced teaching approach. It’s widely used in many different countries.

Part Three: Learning methods (学法)

As an English teacher, our duty is not only to teach the students some English knowledge, but also

to raise their skills of learning and using English. 1. Teach Ss how to be successful language learners.

Part Five: Analysis of the students （学生分析）

The students are in Grade Seven now, and they have some interests of learning and

speaking English, they are willing to co-operate and communicate with others in class, especially this lesson is related to their daily life. I think it’s easy for them to learn the lesson and they will take an active part in the activities in class.

Part Six: Teaching procedures（教学过程）

Step I. Leading-in T: (播放FLASH动画歌曲) Do you like the food? Are

pictures beautiful? Do you like food? Today we will learn something about food.

教学反思：

在设计本课时，我遵循了“听说领先，读写跟上”的原则。在突出听和说的同时，添加了阅读和写作练习，以加强学生对所学语言知识的应用。多媒体的使用，激起学生强烈的求知欲望，拓展了学习内容。但是由于本节课课堂容量较大，师生之间难免缺乏默契，这就为我提出了更高的要求。如何进一步熟练地驾驭课堂，这将是我今后努力的方向。
